Which proves my point. Some people (especially in the USA) are so uniformed that they don't know the slightest differences in other languages. Looking at the police skin it looks more like a UK police vehicle due to the color pallet. But that's on me because I did not know all 3 major types of police paint jobs in Germany. I only know of the 2. Green - gray and Blue - grey not Blue - yellow - gray. What Acrain7 said was probably presuming or taking a 2 second look at the skin and connecting it with the Italy map and saying "it's probably a police car for Italy that must mean Italy will come out in the next update". Now OT. I'm looking forward to the new police car and especial the new T-series paint jobs.
I knew I'd forgotten something: the great AI improvements and especially the traffic mechanics. How could I forget about them...
Yay! Finally, the long-awaited taxi skin for the Burnside and the T-series skin support! --- Post updated --- BTW where did you get those screenshots from?
Also looks like we might be getting a locked engine sound, as a member requested for there to be one and a sound dev responded. https://www.beamng.com/threads/locked-engine-sound.55125/ (thread) Diamoundback said that they're gonna be reworking the turbo sounds as well, although it looks like it still needs work (as of May 21st) https://www.beamng.com/threads/random-turbo-sounds.54900/
I don't think he said no. He said "No, thank you" as a reply to the poster saying "Thank you" (kinda like him saying thanks for post or whatever) otherwise there would be no need for the comma. I also doubt he would reply to just say "no".
They've confirmed those features for release on the 154th of Nevervemberary. Back OT, I've very excited for the Taxi Burnside - from the looks of things, that's a colourable skin (white wheels, interior, and under the checkers). I wonder if the Grand Marshal's Taxi skin will be likewise updated to include the white under the checkers.
We're a long ways away from multiplayer. It's debatable whether or not it's even possible. Stoat Muldoon's mods like the Technical D-Series has demonstrated that it is possible to make machine guns for BeamNG. I think it will mostly depend on what stance the devs take when it comes to whether or not weapons like that will be added. Italy could very well be similarly sized to a GTA map, judging by what all I've seen of the maps development. It looks pretty big. I don't want to be quoted on that though, I could be dead wrong.
I for one want to see what'll happen to the '96 Pessima - will they give it AWD or AWS? Will they give it a big turbo-four or a turbo V6 or both? Will they give it skin UVs? Will it get a widebody kit and a Hillclimb config? Or will it just be left in the dust again for the umpteenth time? Also, if they're adding skin UVs to the K-Series/T-Series, will they finally add the promised GM V8 swap to the BX? I've just been fiddling around with the GM's 5.5-liter V8, and I was able to get 2,157 horsepower (or 1.6 megawatts) out of it at max tuning. Oh, imagine all that power in the BX...that little coupe would fly, alright. (If it doesn't detonate under all that power, that is.)
Supercharger sounds and separate intake and exhaust sounds are probably coming at some time frame, not necessarily for next update though.
Not sure why this isn’t implemented yet. It’s clearly possible, someone made a sound for the D series.
Noice Update Speculation. OT : Do you guys think the Italy map airport will be an international airport or just a normal general aviation one ?
@Captain. Adam It honestly doesn't look like a big international airport, but it could probably handle decent sized planes.
This is Altis from ARMA 3, there is airstrip too, near middle, we can always dream, probably this size will never happen, but Italy is not very small either. GTA V has so small map that it is lame, I like from my JC2 and JC3 worlds, but it is bit of a chore to get other side of the map, BeamNG size is much more convenient.
It's probably a single runway international airport. It looks a bit smaller then Princess Juliana International Airport. SXM has a runway length of 2,300 meters (approx 7,546 ft). https://www.google.com/maps/search/...0407599,-63.1095425,3126m/data=!3m1!1e3?hl=en
