Well, even then, they didn't really have a "full" line-up and simply resorted to a slightly reworked Toyota.
Ekhm. Small reminder that cars in BeamNG are mostly original in design so it can be a mix between Beatle, Karmann and maybe even from different brand (like for example Renault 4CV).
no, the belt and distributor and parts mounted on a boxer block obscured by the engine bay sheet metal
The entire engine is not in the photo - that belt has to be going somewhere, so there has to be at least part of the engine (possibly even most of the engine) beneath the floor there.
Very unlikely it's the Charmand as Gabester said the 1304 B was based off a Renault 5/ Peugeot 205 and this is 20-30 years older.
Everytime someone brings up the concept list, a game developer drops dead somewhere... Stop mentioning a one-off, highly untrustworthy tidbit of possible ideas made years ago.
You sure bout that? While the list has been controversial, IMO it has somewhat provided us a little bit of insight into some upcoming vehicles, considering that vehicles like the Hopper was on it. I'm thinking that some of those vehicles on the list will die off, while others may proceed to the next stage.
And some cars might make it into the game with other names, so we will never know if they were on the list.
There has never been any proof, very little to no mention, no screenshots/renders, no teasers, and no announcements pointing toward the existence of anything on the concept list. Hoping for the cars on there is the equivalent of hoping for Half-Life 3.
Considering gabester wrote and maintained the list for well over a year before its removal, I wouldn't say its untrustworthy. Its just the devs don't want to promise/guarantee cars that they won't add to the game for certain.
True, but I think Veyron has a good point. Gabester did talk about some of them as if they were going to happen, I.E. the Charmand, the Fulmine, and the Bruckell Albatross, so I think there's some hope for them. As for the other ones, only time will tell whether or not they make it into game, or disappear into the abyss.
This one is too detailed to be an error. Gotta take a ride in my Hopper and think about it. Seems to be a dual engine bay floor. Weirdly enough, the Beetle didn't have that. You could see the whole motor through the hood. --- Post updated --- Also, it's a concept list. Concept = an idea that isn't currently being executed.
Plus, the trunk looks way too small to resemble a Ghia at all, especially when you measure the trunk size of the Beetle and the Ghia.
