if you can get used, get a G27 off Ebay. Real leather, high quality, includes 900° Rotation, nice FFB motors, Shifter and 3 pedals of course

    This ^
I have this and the T3PA (soon the T8HA too) and it's been perfect, strong FFB, comfortable, doesn't feel cheap, very expandable, and overall a great wheel.

I am not sure how hard you had to look to find one for $900 bucks considering I think almost all of them are up for sale for about $250.

Anyways, I have a G29 (the Xbox version since I wanted to use it on Forza as well) and I have to say it isn't bad. It definitely isn't great, but it's not terrible. The wheel is fantastic, nice leather, good build quality, great clamps, fairly quiet (sort of... I use headphones though so your mileage may vary), nice force feedback (even if it is a bit weak), a little slow turning, but it's ok. The shifter... well, it's really close together compared to my real cars so I find myself missing shifts a lot, that plus reverse is a little bit of a pain to engage if your in a hurry as you have to push down on the shifter while shifting to 6th gear to engage reverse and the spring has a fair bit of tension on it. Also, if you start getting aggressive with shifting, the clamps on the shifter aren't as good as the ones on the wheel. 3 times over the year I have owned it I have had the shifter come off the table while shifting rather aggressively. The Pedalbox is the last bit and I leave it last for a reason. It is kinda annoying for one singular reason. The Brake Pedal. The rest of the box is rather high quality, doesn't slide around, has a carpet gripper if your on carpet, quality pedals and fairly good pedal feel. The brake pedal, however, they tried to simulate the feel of a pressurized brake system... alright, I am all for realism here... so what's so bad about that? Well... they did this by having a giant rubber bumper inside the spring in the pedalbox. This rubber bumper is about as stiff as those old pink erasers that we all had in elementary school and barely compresses at all. In real cars I can press the pedal all the way to the floor... even with the car off. It takes a fair amount of force, but I CAN do it. The brake pedal on this thing? With that rubber bumper intact... I couldn't muster over 20% brake pedal activation with all my weight on the thing according to most games and that was with me ending up sliding back in my chair because apparently my weight on the chair was less force than pressing that brake pedal (no my chair doesn't have wheels for anyone that thinks that is the issue)

Conclusion... Pretty good wheel, fairly good shifter, and fairly good pedal box if you remove that rubber bumper like I did. Recommended wheel if you find one that comes with the added shifter (most of the G29's don't so keep that in mind), just don't pay full price for one... Full kit, shifter included still in box and never opened I got mine for about $220 on eBay.

Well, I've bought my g27 new for around 290$ so it shouldn't be that hard to buy one for about 200$ now

I own a Thrustmaster T500 RS with a T8HA shifter and I never regretted getting it. You will struggle to get one for 200$ (maybe used?).
    Pros:
    - wheel is perfect, nice leather, stiff clamps, ultra strong FFB (I have to tune it down in most games :-D )
    - pedals are really nice, you can customize the setting, change springs, rocksolid materials

    Cons:
    - price is above your budget
    - shifterpedals on the wheel are not turning with the wheel (there are tutorials tonchamge that, but in BeamNG you should use a T8HA anyway, because most cars aren't racecars with sequential gearboxes)

In general I have experienced, that the more you invest into a steering wheel, the closer you get to reality. Never buy cheap, as you tend to regret it after a short time. I had racing wheels since 1998 and I know how cheap wheels can ruin the game experience :)

Awesome. I'm definitely going to check that one out in a minute, and I may also save up a little more money so that I have some even better options to choose from :)

I don't consider racing wheels as toys anymore. They are for realism and immersion ;-)
