Thanks Keep in mind this is my first mod, so the jbeam might be a little tacky. This is more of an experiment to help me learn jbeam, but it's still fun to reduce vehicles to pancakes with it.
Yes. It will have a total of 5 thruster nodes: 1 extremely powerful vertical thruster at the bottom (only one because having 2 nodes to define a thruster for all of the 31 first stage engines would unnecessarily complicate the Jbeam), and 4 much weaker horizontal control thrusters towards the top of the ship. It also has about the same wight as the real BFR (9.7 million lbs). I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to when you say "does the thrust have force", but if you are asking if the exhaust from the engines will be able to destroy things, the answer is no. Hope that info answered your question.
Well it’s awesome. But the camera does take a loooooooong time to zoom out if your like me and don’t have proper free cam controls. Also no particle effects (can’t say I’m bothered though). But other than that, it’s amazing. I got really high with it from gridmap
I included big falcon rocket in parenthesis in the title because that is what the mod is based off of. The full name, as decided by the community, is "Large Interplanetary Transport For All Merchandise". I just shortened the name in the title of the thread.
You should add shock diamonds instead of particle effects for the engines. (see Avro Arrow mod or Wentward JATO for examples of shock diamonds) Also, the bottom thrusters are also really jiggly when you spawn it, might want to fix that.
I've never heard of shock diamonds, so i'll look into that. The rocket does have a lot of jiggly messiness, i am experimenting with ways to solve that. Thanks for your feedback!

so right now you can go up but at some point are you going to be able to point it is different tilt left,right,forwards and back.
Yes. I am currently working on implementing features and bug fixes, such as the ability to control the rocket during flight, reducing the amount of mesh spiking in the engines, and making the rocket less wobbly. Once again, the file i uploaded is just an early WIP version with a lot of stuff missing. Sorry about the slow progress, i am working on other projects as well, but hopefully i will release it soon.
2 more question are you going to add different cameras to it. also what are you outer projects your working on.

Sounds awesome. I’d love to be able to do something like that, but currently I don’t have the skills. And when I do, I’d probably make a Bruckell magic wagon anyway
I dont quite have the skills yet either, but i feel that the game badly lacks a vehicle like this, so i won't give up.
