Outdated Better Sounds Mod [5.1.1] works with 0.18.0.1

You didn't put the sirenmod folder in the mod folder follow the installation video

Did you installed the mod correctly ?

 

yes, i installed like i normally do and it in my files in the in game mods section, and its active,but it does not work

 

Try to check the installation video in your mod folder you should have "sirenmod.zip" and "sirenmod" folder. You must have the latest version of the game

 

now it works! love iit best mod ever!

I renamed the folder to "Drag & Drop the content of this folder to the Mod folder" instead of "Drag & Drop to the Mod folder".

 

do the new blinker sounds in this mod replace the defult ones or will I have to disable the modded ones manually?

Would you be able to make this compatible with the LookAhead camera mod?

 

It is already, i use both mods actually

 

Thats interesting, because when Im using the LookAhead camera the custom sounds dont play. I cant hear things like the parking brake, gear shifts, or the dirt driving sound (speaking of, how can i increase the dirt sound?).

 

Dirt sound is dynamic, you can't change the volume without editing the lua file. If you really need i can do it for you if you want. I'll make a fix for lookahead today

Really LOVE this mod add many little (but necessary) stuff to the game. I only have two questions about it:
1. Why when I drive an automatic, every time the gearbox changes gear (I'm in D) there's a sound as if I'm in a manual changing gear?
2. How do I activate the alarm?

1 - Because i don't know how gearbox work since i've never driven a vehicle :c (sorry for my english)
2 - Shut off the engine, the car must be stopped. Break any part of the car

 

Its no worry about the dirt sound volume, was just curious that there was no option. As for the lookahead fix, thanks. Greatly appreciated.

Ok, now i investigated it and its not giving crackles with synsols v10 for etk 800 :/ so nothing wrong with this mod
