   I've noticed with the most recent update that the backfire sounds no longer make a sound. Tried clearing cache and disabling each and every mod until it worked and yet it doesn't.

   Works here.
   If you have mods, disable all of them and check again.
   Also depends a lot on the vehicle and configuration you use.
