Since my thread is dying, I'll try to revive it. My second choice would be the El Camino. There is a few concept pictures, but I doubt the Camino will be back anytime soon (And I'm not counting the SSR as being a new Camino). I searched up El Camino concepts, and came across a few weird ones. One was basically the Chevy Sonic chopped in half but with a truck bed on the back. The other was a Holden ute but with the chevy badge. They even had the guts to keep the Holden plate. Here they are:
This might be biased because I own one, but I'd love to see the Acura RSX/Honda Integra DC5 make a return with Acura bringing the Type S line back pretty soon. It is a very underated hatch and anyone who drives one will tell you so.
Well, sadly, GM denied the Escala production (idiotic choice at any costs) even though it actually is an great concept in it's own rights. They were supposed to come back last year... yet I never seen an new Saab outside the 2011 or older vehicles.
I do know that a company called NEVs is making electric 9-3s in China at least, and they have the rights to the platform, but other than that I don't know of any plans to bring them to Europe or the states
The Hilux still exists to this day, actually. For the FRS.... well, it's no longer possible as they killed off the sub-brand in 2016. The only versions left are the BRZ and the GT86.
True but, Toyota doesn't make the Hilux in the U.S. I was greatly bummed the day Toyota shut down Scion.
What was wrong with it? I wish Pontiac could still exist but GM would probably mess it up If Mitsubishi could make good cars again they would be fine
I am happy as a bug in a rug with Pontiac being dead. How about they stay dead? I could go either way with Mitsubishi. I'm kind of tilting toward the side of them staying around though....
they couldn't race in the trans am series because they didn't have the back door chevy did the banshee was killed because it was deemed too similar to the corvette even though the banshee used the sprint 6 motor, was smaller and cheaper the second gen f-body was supposed to have a wagon but they couldn't agree on who's doors to use the fiearo was forced to use chevette suspension and the iron duke because chevy was afraid of what would happen if it could use new suspension and the buick turbo v6 the third gen firebird was supposed to use a refined version of the 301 turbo with 200+bhp the solstace was supposed to have a 6 in it the G8 was supposed to have a ute version and many more....
The G8 did had an ute version, though they cancelled it after they died out. https://www.quora.com/Why-cant-I-own-a-Toyota-Hilux-in-America I still hate that decision, as it's actually an pretty good pick-up for what it is.
