i tryed the marshal and it doesnt have the sfx mod , and the pessima is already listed there.

Edited: okay the pessima listed there is the newer version, soo your right the midsize is the old pessima, but still dont know what the fullsize is:S

thats weird i cant find it in the engine part list, i dont have any grand marshal mod :/

i dont find any SFX mod in engine.

 

How does this MOD be used? I put the compression pack in the MOD folder and entered the game and found that it didn't change.

 

You have to select the fmod engine for the supported cars

 

the mod is selectable in the engine, exemple for the D-15 its called -5.4l SFX MOD-

 

In the description I put "Look for the SFX MOD" when selecting an engine.

Example: 378 CUI V8
378 CUI V8 SFX MOD <----------- Look for this

 

Awesome mod! The late model pessima V6 sound is really good. Sounds very close to a Honda NSX. Would fit perfect with a high revving engine on the bolide even as a swap on the 200bx. Again, awesome work!

 

Actually the sounds are from the NSX lol.

 

Well, Moonhawk sounds just like god really. Amazing sound! Marshall sounds really terrible , not like premium fullsize sedan. Sunburst is great too!

 

If you could give the Grand Marshal a deeper tone in the low RPM, it would actually sound fairly close to a Crown Victoria. The low RPM needs work. I use the D-Series V8 sounds for the large V8 in the Marshal (LT1 replica) and the Grand Marshal for the standard V8 (Ford 4.6 replica) and it works out nicely. I use the Moonhawk 6cyl sound in the D-Series as well. Sounds pretty good.

Replacements are on the way for the GM. I made this update initial to not keep people waiting so long.

I never thought about the moonhawk's i6 sounds in the D15 and H-Series base models... Sounds like a good idea.

 

so far i love all the sound, but the only one i think for me thats not realistic, its the i4 sound,(with turbo) between 5k-7k rpm its perfect and sound amazing, but the hidle to 5k it sound horible.

 

I absolutely love the sounds, but theres a massive deal breaker for me: tuning

The original BeamNG engines by now get many options like "performance long block 2" and stuff, but only the 5.5 v8 gets those in the mod. You think you could maybe get that to work for the other modded engines like the H4 in the Sunburst?

 

The Moonhawk V8 engine sound is absolutely fantastic! Went on a car show in my grandad's Aston Martin V8 and it sounded quite similar. Really nice on/off load sounds too!

 

Would be great if the D15 engine and sound could also be used in the H15 series.

The H15 is my favorite vehicle but I really miss a proper sound for it, like used in the D15 with your mod.

Alright guys, the update is pending.

Here's what I have done so far...

-Added inline 6 sounds to the Van/Roamer/Pickup
-Added sounds for the Covet Hatch (Sohc only)
-Revised sounds for the old pessima and added sounds to the 200BX (Coupe)
-The Van/Roamer has the V8 sounds ported over from the pickup
-The Legran gets sounds and has different motor sounds for both of the V6 motors.
-The Etk-K gets sounds carried over from the Etk 800.
-Added Sounds for the CityBus (WentWard Bus)

The following vehicles don't have sounds yet:

Pigeon (Not Started)
Burnside (May carry over V8 sounds from Moonhawk)
Barstow (Not Started) (Largest Motor will use Moonhawk sounds while the other motors get new sounds)
Miramar (Not Started)
Semi (Not Started)
Etk i series. (W.I.P)
