I'm guessing it'll have different options for a RHD dash or a LHD in the options menu now or will it be completely separate bodies just LHD or RHD
there is a new body style for the hatchback(trueno) and the coupe(levin) with the lhd dashboard. Some parts like gauges and needles need to be changed in the options menu.
Pls can you make the gear lever move? Like when changing the gear to 1 it goes side and then to gear 2 if you know what I am saying... --- Post updated --- I mean that rear wheel drive cars spin out a lot...
well learn to drive better then. BeamNG cars are realistic. They may help you to be a better driver irl.
I'd suggest some changes to the dash materials, they look pretty weird and fake at the minute. I think lowering the specular material value will help it alot, you want to try and get the specular highlights spread out more so they aren't as sharp on the edges like around the wheel and gauge cluster. This will help get a much more even lighting across the whole panel so you dont end up with very dark textures with sharp lighting on the edges. Brightening the base colour a little bit may help too The covet sould be a useful guide for material setup. (although its slightly less reflective)
Thank You, I will take a look into it. I'm just wondering if it's possible to have a texture (like on the covet) on it and have it at the same time still colorable with the color selector?. Because that's what I would like to have on this dashboard.
Yeah it should be quite easy to make it colourable, all you really have to do is make a second dash/interior diffuse (for example AE86_dash_red, AE86_dash_blue etc) with the parts you want to be a different colour changed, then you can just set up the jbeam and material. Both of those are basically just a case of adding a new slot and changing the material name and mapto. This is an example of what I have setup in the past: The ETK I series is a pretty good place to get this setup from. Really though its just a case of changing the colour and renaming some materials.
