Car doesnt look bad but it is not as good as the old one, the mean sporty look has vanished and there is only that left, It can only be a shadow of its former self (also it is downsized soo...)

I also think a facelift wasnt necessary as 2018 version already looked pretty well. Only slight touches and new tech would've been enough imo

Also also, rear isnt that bad, it is the front that kills it.

Honestly the rear end looks okay to me, it's the front that is blindingly ugly.

It needed a refresh, not a defacement...

The only thing that "saves" this design is the unchanged coupe body, but only because they didn't change it.

Every car generation looks the same to a generation who grew up before that generation was around. Granted, cars can deviate to a norm, as they are doing now.

A long time ago, American cars, British cars, and European cars all had vastly different body shapes and styling cues.

As culture deviates toward more of a single point, usually sped up by modern communications such as the internet, the cars do too.

They still do, with exceptions for models that are sold world wide.

This camaro would stand out like a sore thumb in Britain or Europe. There have been some very big pushes to sell American cars in Britain and Europe for years and they never sell well, the reason for that is because they are different and not what the market is used to.

Ugh they got the giant-ass grill trend going on now. I hate it so much. Lexus, Toyota, now Chevy. I have lost all respect to the camaro now, looks like a deformed transformer face.

Micheal Bay's version of the Camaro in The Last Knight actually looks a bit better than this. Also, don't forget Nissan.

Is there a reason every car manufacturer today is borrowing styling cues from 1980's sci fi movies?

When I get my ass back on the road and if I go for a second hand fairly new car, it'll be a small underpowered hatchback that'll either look like a fat metal bubble or a wannabe stealth fighter. then you look at an expensive model and it suffers from the same disease of looking like a toy car. it's just prolific.

I kind of take back what I said when everyone was shitting on the 2006 incarnation of the Toyota Prius. It's inoffensive compared to what we're getting now.

At this rate, by 2030, the Camaro will be less attractive than a roadkill squirrel

Guys, guys, calm down! The Camaro look meaner IMO. It looks like a creature screaming it’s guts out when you look at it closer. Plus Chevy is making their cars more futuristic than sticking to the classic look.

I remember when the C7 Corvettes replaced the classic circle bullet lights and basically slapped the rear end of a Camaro on it. People were not happy with the change when they saw it for the first time, yet they later adjusted to it and they were ok with it in the end.

No, the Camaro looks like the painful look of shoving an entire D Series Driveshaft up its exhaust (if you get the community screenshots reference, just say lol)

And, as for the corvette, nah, i still hate that...
