On my Creality CR-10, I replaced the stock glass with a 12"x12" (about 300mmx300mm) Home Depot mirror as mirrors need a higher quality surface for reflections and thus are more smooth and flat. I generally use PLA from ESUN called PLA Pro + and Hatchbox PLA (as well as Hatchbox's wood filament, too). I have the best results with extruder temp set at 210C and the bed set at 70C. With the mirror in place of the glass, I've recorded the bed at about 5C below what it is set at. When I clean the bed/mirror, I use paper towel and normal rubbing alcohol. I just completed a 75 hour print with no issues in lifting, warping, or any other bed adhesion issues.

I've also experienced some warped edges on parts with sharp corners. Curved parts usually turn out okay. Once way to overcome this is to use a raft or even raise the part above the bed surface and print on supports. I use Simplify3D ($150USD, but comes with a 30 day money back guarantee) which allows you to place supports pretty much anywhere you'd like.

I actually just bought a Creality CR-10 last night... should be here in about 2 weeks I am guessing. How is yours holding up? I have heard nothing but praise online about it.

I received mine last October. Bought it from Gearbest and it took about a month to get it shipped in from China. Hopefully shipping for you is a lot faster than mine. I love the CR-10. We're actually thinking of get another or maybe even one of the larger ones. I haven't had too many issues with it, mainly user-related problems (yes, I willingly admit I've messed up).

However, there was one issue and that was the power supply took itself out one night. Thankfully the print I had going was finished by the time it went "poof." Turns out the thermistor inside literally fried and killed the PSU. Fortunately, it was under warranty and we received a replacement. Unfortunately, it was shipped from the same depot in China and took well over a month to get stateside. However, some deducing on my end, I was able to find a direct replacement on Amazon for about $20USD with my 2-Day Prime shipping that got me back up and running. Now I have a backup in case the Amazon one decides to follow suit with the OE.

Once you do get yours, I'd print these "mods" (or parts that should be included to make life easier). First off is this mod-pack that includes larger bed leveling wheels that snap over the existing bed leveling nuts, a fan duct for print cooling (mine already had that part from the factory), and this bed heating cable bracket that relieves strain that can cause premature heating element failure. Link here. Another "mod" I printed was a SD card adapter bracket. It's reported that the microSD slot in the control box is fairly delicate and repeated inserts and ejects can cause it to disintegrate. Link Here. Lastly, the aforementioned glass replacement. I used a mirror from Home Depot that is 12"x12" (roughly 300mmx300mm) for a smoother bed. Others have used mirrors of the same size from IKEA to achieve the same results. I believe the HD mirrors were about $10USD for a pack of either 6 or 10.

And finally, if you are on Facebook, there is a great community of CR-10 Users. Link Here. Join up and don't be afraid to ask questions.

    Good luck!

I know this is a large bump but I am looking at getting a CR 10s printer, is there any issues I should watch out for besides the warped glass plate or problems printing flex filaments?
