About the demo, is it like a portion of the map blocked off with barriers or does it end with something intresting like the gta 4 airport map?
Wait, so it's going to be cut off by a huge "BeamNG" billboard? What do the other billboards look like? Sorry for repeating myself, but do the textures (of roads, buildings, etc.) have normal maps like the official BeamNG textures? (Why am I complaining about such a detail?) Also, a face is missing on those buildings' roof things. (I don't know the proper term, sadly)
:/ I felt so upset when I realized that the suv I was working on was scaled way too small (idk why I decided to scale x axis) and I didn't realize till most of the jbeam was in place. And then I got stuck attaching fenders with headlights that could fall out and I gave up for a few months. Also didn't know I could of replaced each instance of text in any file in the root folder vs doing each one notepad++. My models don't have any serious smoothing issues that can't be fixed with an edge split modifier (Mostly the spot below the doors). You just helped revived my interest in finishing these things. Also, Normal maps work as seen on the engine + rear lights. Still need to (Ignore the inside part of the hood because wrong normal map + texture). Jbeams for the Front bumper and hood are done, but that it so far on this one.
Go and download the demo now me mates. http://beamngparadise.tk I'll be accepting sign-ups all day today and make sure to notify me here when you've done so. Have fun! don't share the dl link pls n thx
Great work! I like your attention to detail. What are the cars going to be called? Will you use BeamNG brand names? For example, there is a Civic-looking traffic car in Burnout Paradise. Will that be called "Ibishu Covet", or something else?
That's a tough one actually lol. It has no actual name, so I will probably brand it as the Ibishu Covet.
