I am too tired to cry but just know I am on the inside. I am really getting hyped for this and kinda need to calm down. The nostalgia is really coming to me, I remember going to the camping series when I was a little boy. This will finally give me the chance to learn how to make skins and crash all the trucks that won the races on my home track, do a little rewriting of history.
so is this mod done or what? i have been following the thread but i haven't seen a link but a lot of people are making paint schemes.
ohh @matty1080 that texture work is absolutely beautiful man! The exhaust is very nice, you got the welds and the overall look perfect. The small details are amazing, small details always make models more realistic and aesthetically pleasing to drive, quick question will the over rev light and other lights actually light up?
ok is there a date because the latest date that the first post shows is 02/08/18 --- Post updated --- nevermind i see it thanks
thanks. i hope to make the over rev lights functional. the same goes for the warning lights although im exactly sure how yet
There is a fair chance of this, many official vehicles use similar functions for their gauges, so I can steal from that and modify.
Stealing as a figure of speech, I know that modifying official content is allowed otherwise 99% of the repo wouldn't exist
thank god because in terms of the models, all of the bodywork started out as d series bodywork, as did the brakes, front suspension and all of the glass. the engine, gearbox and driveshaft comes from the barstow, so does the gearstick and pedals. the rear springs and shocks are from the moonhawk. the rims and tires are modified beamng models, same story for the steering wheel. i think thats the lot --- Post updated --- the rest is made from scratch
you know its goanna be a good mod when a staff member comments.......even if its for saying that working with the D-series body technically isn't stealing lol
This is the only time I would tolerate that meme. I am just here tossing cars aroung in the waiting arrival for the beautiful truck, Then I come across a "AE86" on one of the threads and its J-beam seems to be that of the GM. Or maybe it was the 200bx (I want to say 240sx so bad). Either way that reminded me of it and the only thing I see on youtube now it seems.
