Dude, this is some awesome models. I love off-road machines. Great work! Here are some ideas I got and a few pictures: Your last picture of the exoframe kind of makes no sense. How will the doors open? Also, the hood is over-protected. There aren't many rock-slides when rock-crawling, the engine is in no danger of being hit from above. And sometimes you need to open it while off-roading. Here's a picture I found of a cool toyota rock-crawler. The doors are intact, hood too, so they tube-framed around them. They also chopped the frame and made the whole truck more nimble and short. I believe someone made a mod for a chopped off-road D-series, it might be worth it to make the two mods work together! This off-roader has another cool feature- tubed doors. These doors are cheaper to make (your model seems to have "aftermarket" doors, with bigger windows, they look good but I won't buy such pretty doors, they will most likely be bent and damaged! tubed ones may be a cheaper option, for more purpose-oriented off road builds. Also- Huge grill-mounted lights. also, I like how this truck has no front bumper, to increase the aproach angle. But that's not really the type of truck your'e going for. Anyway, hope it helped, or that the pics gave you some inspiration. Can't wait to try out the mod when it's ready!
WOW this is great. Everyone is talking about exocage design, I'm amazed by the dual cases. I'm also digging the new gear sets. A pet peeve of mine is that BeamNG calls the fully locked carrier "welded", which is common for cheaper builds but it should be "spooled" since spools are the strongest possible carrier. This is an awesome bit of nostalgia. Suddenly when geared down, the D-15 is able to outwheel the hopper in every way. It's the 90s all over again!
I got a bit done on the exo cage jbeam today, and most of the modeling / changes have been made to the suspension arms and mounting points, still need to finish off a few bits but the modular exo seems to be working pretty well. Here's a couple of pics from in game
This mod is bad %%%!!! I love it bro! just needs some custom bumpers and sliders and cut fenders and bed maybe a bobbed bed!
Also on the roll cages in real life offroaders like to do triangles because they are much stronger than squares. But either way this and the hopper mega pack are the best mods for this game which is saying a lot! Heres some of my ideas (you may already have completed some) Bed options -Truggy tube bed -flat bed -bobbed bed and frame (shortened bed and frame) -dovetailed bed (where they bring the bed sides to form a V) Cut fenders and bed sides Exo cage Half doors Tire carriers Rock sliders not part of the cage Front bumpers -Stinger -prerunner -tube bumper Rear bumpers Wheel base stretches Dove tailed front end Hood vents Interior bucket seats and cage Just ideas. We should all be happy with what we already have. Great mod though keep it up!
I've got one thing to say about this mod; and that is that it is an amazing mod. Thank you very much Hog, and I hope to see many more updates for this.
Just to let you know in case you haven't been informed yet, this mod causes a weird issue with the Barstow...
