For some reason in the WIP version, the textures turn orange and it is really annoying ; pls fix the bug! I suggest you add different volvo tires, a wagon, more configs, removable mud flaps and a higher suspension. Great mod tho :0 keep up the good work!
hey man, it finally works again! just wanted to tell you again how much i love this mod and that it still handles like a dream in game
Haven't driven it yet, but looks well done. I was just surprised by the last picture - never seen an axle bent like that!!
Sorry to bump in, but I just want to ask a basic question about this mod. In some recent updates, some features of this mod got broken because of its use of outdated material. One of the things I noticed is that when one of the rear wheels is turned (with an engine off and the clutch engaged), the opposite wheel turns the same direction. I am quite aware that differentials do not work this way. Are there any other features that were broken from this mod? I'm just curious.
will you be updating this ? or any other mods like this, maybe some rally cars from dirt you can very detailedly convert over ?
lol asking for a stolen model to be "detailedly" converted is like asking for a sharp stick in the eye. who actually wants that garbage lol converted mods are absolutely horrific in terms of quality and fun factor.
i don't mean like typical Russian mods where they have no structure, not a decent interior. I'm talking about getting a model, then stripping it of all its individual parts, giving them structure, then putting it all back together like a model car. Like the Satsuma, that is in my summer car, was then put into this game, with all individual items, made with quality. not a 10 min grab than model, leave the 240p interior, bonnet doesn't even open etc.
well the underlying issue with converting another game's car model into beam is the poly flow and how the inconsistencies in the flow cause spiking, so another game's model will basically have to be completely remodeled in most areas anyway, plus the fact that usually the engine, underside, suspension, exhaust, brakes, interior, trunk, etc etc etc all need to be modeled in anyway...so it really doesnt make sense to go that route.
i wish you could turn off the engine damage it was amazing when you could drive a completely messued up car
...gonna take a stab in the dark, and guess that he meant he wishes a car's body could be completely bashed up, without the mechanical drivetrain being affected, so it's still driveable.
