Disagree with you, 500L is pretty nicely designed car, and it's cheaper than competition. OT: 2018 Toyota Auris. It's uglier than previous generation and looks like redesigned 2016 Renault Megane.
Indeed. The 500L was meant to be a larger sibling to the Panda III... before they tried to forcefully slot it in the 500 range by grafting the 500 nose on the front in order to milk more sales out of it...
I like the FF91. I think the futuristic styling looks cool. One of my car drawings took some inspiration from it. But what I like most is those wheels. The 1966 model looks better than the 64 - 65 in my book. I think that particular one doesn't look too hot. The standard one is far more pleasant to look at, well I think so anyway. However, the first generation Copen is cute IMO.
It still looks like an bad example of how to do an modern bubbly car. Also, just noting, but it's an 2019 model, even though they do get released earlier. True, the original Copen was pretty good. For me, it looks like an 500 estate that was mashed into a bubble machine.
Thats an annoying part of car nameplates these days, the fiat 500l is as far from a 500 as you can get. There lineup would be more interesting if they let the cars be what they want to be, instead of grafting the meaningless "500" badge to it.
Exactly. Milking the success of a nameplate. It's not like they didn't have more suitable precedents to revive either, it's just that the 600/850/900T is nowhere near as well known as the 500.
It's like the Cooper, it gets milked into (so many) variants nowadays, and it now looks like it got plagued by the Countryman. OT: This f*cker is still ugly as hell, even in real life. For me, it's about the worst designed SUV I've seen this year yet.
