I don't know how customizable it's going to be so it's hard to say how you should doit. Are you going to make the exo removable or is it going to be part of the bed cage. If the exo will be romovabel them do a few of the same or even a little different but what will change is how the front ties in. So you can do one with no front bumper, one that ties onto a stinger, and one that will tie into a little heavier duty tube bumper. When your dealing with crawler every single one is unique and vision of whos behind the wheel that built it. My own personal opinion, I would like to see what you come up with because man it's looking good so far. But just stay away from putting to many gussets on it. If it was tube crawler that would be fine because they can get covered by sheet metal witch you can do on the rear to add a little more character but avoid it on the front portion. Keep up the good work though it's looking good!!

This is by far my favorite mod, but I really ant he 4 link bars to be hear.

 

Just another quick update.... I have the majority of the tube work completed, I'm just playing with ideas for the front options and considering making a couple of rear options as well.
It will end up highly customizable if what Im planning works out.

u never fail to amaze ! will there be a spare wheel option on the rear cage ?

 

Just to bring up one thing, why doesnt it like to go into reverse can you look at it and also the shifting its weird it goes first then jumps to 4th gear can that be addressed also?

I'm not sure whats going on there.
Are you using arcade or realistic shifting?

I haven't had any issues with reverse but I always use the realistic shift setting.
The next update will have a better setup trans and differentials so that alone may help

Thanks for looking into it also the shifting is effected in the Arcade mode only from what I recall of driving it, best to check that out

Eventually it will be uploaded to the repo but for the time being I'll just be working out of the thread.
Most things are in very early beta stages still.

Although I did make some pretty major headway with the suspension tonight so thats almost one thing off a growing list

 

This is awesome man! Lemme see if I can find a pic of DED's rock bouncer truck, with a cage, and maybe you could do something like that?
