either i suck at building them or you cant build them. as soon as i go 1000hp+ the car is just to unstable to send straight down the strip. a suspension / frame mod i think would fix this.

    any response appreciated.

Its all about how you handle the throttle, thats the key to it, if you have a controller and you can react quickly enough you can build into the power easily

Just try to think about how you use the throttle, its all about that throttle control man, master that and even a 3000bhp modded car is easy to drive!

One claimed to me that on glue strip grip is not an issue, just flooring when light goes and keep it down. That one raced with 1500hp drag car.

We then chatted about suspension tuning and how some can make their suspension setup so that they are lot faster, no grip issues though, car just accelerates faster without wasting so much energy and that he told me is the thing.

Another funny thing is that drag slick on glue track has more grip when sliding than when in static grip state, that is how they get to 5g acceleration.

Setting up your wheelie bars has also lot to do with how much forward propelling forces remain in active, it is wonderfully complex sport where some things are completely opposite from what you would except.

You also have to figure that in real drag racing, they generally use computers to limit power being put to the tires until you reach a certain speed. The drag cars we have are all manually carbureted so that's only possible to control with your "foot".

lower suspension, aero down force, better wider tires, longer wheelbase.
