Yeah, that does kinda suck that they want to do that. If the Japanese people are happy with them, why get rid of them? Whatever happened to if it ain't broken, don't fix it?

    Yugo Florida/Sana.
There aren't many of these, it's produced in just 30000 examples. Fact that is one of rarest cars in UK tells all.

The Japanese "love" kei cars in the same sense Brits "love" subcompacts, Americans "love" Japanese sedans and Cubans "love" Cold War-era cars - they don't, they just think these things are good enough.

I'd put most Daewoos on this list.
I left out the Tico because it's still the ultimate inexpensive car so they're somewhat sought after.

The Murano Cross-cabriolet. I'm really glad these things didn't sell because every time I see one on the road I almost crash.

In my town of Puławy, Poland, the VW Passat B3, the Opel Vectra A, the Daewoo Tico and the Peugeot 205 are cars that were everywhere a few years ago, but now are virtually gone.

I've got 3 thing on my list.

    1. 2 door SUVs
This is exactly what our Bronco looked like.
The Ford Bronco, or just 2 door SUVs in general. I really loved the Bronco. My dad bought one when I was in high school (a 1990 Bronco) and I loved driving. Even though I don't like things that are SUVs or trucks this was an exception. I drove it to school everyday I could because I hated the car I drove at the time. All my friends loved it, I probably had the coolest vehicle in the parking lot. (and I'm not kidding either, no one at my school liked cars let alone drove anything that had value). But eventually the Bronco sales dropped and it was surrendered to a 4 door SUV, as were most 2 door SUVs.

    2. 3 door hatchbacks

I really love hatchbacks, they are my favorite affordable cars. That's why I bought one (a 3 door 2005 GTI), and they are slowly dying, because no one wants them. I find hatchbacks the perfect combination of fun and practical. But with less and less of the population being into cars (especially us Americans) people just care about getting to point A to B and the number of people they can fit. The Volkswagen GTI, Ford Focus, Honda Civic, and others not even sold in the states have already dropped their 3 door option. And others are following. Not even the highest trims are offered in 3 doors, when they used to be 3 door only or mostly 3 door. One day the death of the 3 door will come and I will be a very sad person.

Then there is the obvious endangered cars like one with larger displacement, more cylinders, naturally aspirated, and manual cars, being replaced with small, turbocharged, automatic cars which don't even have manual options. The last statistic I heard was 5% of cars sold in the USA are manual and 20% of Americans can drive manuals.

    2edgy4me.

95% of these cars would have gone to the junkyard anyway, just later.
