He should remake the mod, it's already mostly there, but the suspension/drive train will need a rework, this might even be pre-hub-wheel version of the game this was from. Lots of people have these cars, they seem to go a long time actually... simple... nothing over-done, not over-complicated, not TOO tough to work on. I would enjoy puttering about in an Elantra, honestly. Could call that the Ibishu Eccentra or something. Can't put real names on the car and have it on the mod repo (it can be on forums part though, just not on mod repo, see Terms of Service). Just pull the badges (like 'Hyundai' or 'Elantra') off the car and the grille emblem (and steering-wheel graphic, if so, just smudge out or copy over the logo with your own or a plain spot to cover it), and name it what you want. I know it's a lot of work, just know a lot of people would enjoy it.
I don’t plan on working on this car in the future, what it needs is a reworked suspension, wheels and frame, the jbeam is a reworked fullsize jbeam, the pessama jbeam would be a better fit for this mod, it’s open to the public. Soon I will be opening my car modeling page and taking request for cars so look out for that, it’ll be first come first serve and the prices will be fair, I’ll be working under and established freelance website so transactions should be smooth
