New MB frontend looks sad. So glad Sacco is still alive, otherwise he would be spinning in his grave. MB couldn't get a single design right since he retired...
So what's next? An CLS-styled E-Class? It's like repeating the design of the Fiesta on MULTIPLE Fords, which already doesn't look good. (It's the 2017 model I'm talking about, still looks uninspired.) Also, another butcher-up from Hyundai. Can you please not make it desperately want to be a GLC and a i30 at the same time? It barely even looks like a fastback, let alone anything else besides a coupe-hatchback vehicle.
Bruno Sacco's (newer) designs looked boring, he's part of the reason why Mercedes had the grandparent's car image for a long time. Apart from the C111 of course, that thing looks awesome. However, his efforts were much better than Mercedes trying desperately to appeal to a younger demographic with those overly tacky designs.... However, that's still better than Mercedes trying desperately to appeal to some rich middle eastern people by sticking diamonds and V12s to everything..... HOWEVER, that is STILL better than Mercedes trying desperately to label their station wagons as "shooting brake" because it sounds fancier that way ... They invented the car, mind you, they know what they're doing....
Not like a bloated earthworm, maybe? I don't see anything right with it. Awful, dumpy proportions, and the front is the same contrived mess as every other Hyundai. Totally misses on the fast part of fastback.
It's like Hyundai literally was inspired by a Mercedes Benz GLC... or it's the "more" hatchback-y version of the Civic Hatchback (2017) with i30 styling. --- Post updated --- I agree, it looks worse than the Kona, which looks like the Hyundai rip-off of the SUV (Santa Fe/Tucson) x C4 Picasso (2017). --- Post updated --- Why does the interior look like a street-legal unmarked GT3 vehicle in the future, with civilian car interior parts? (Personally, the interior and rear of the Q Inspiration is the best part of the car.)
Sure, after they killed off Holden (for no reason whatsoever) they need to fill the void with their other shitty cars
They can call it whatever they want, these days automotive names don't mean anything, it's just another Hyundai I don't care much about. It's not like the people buying those care too much either.
