https://itunes.apple.com/de/app/beamng-drive-remote-control/id1163096150?mt=8 But my iTunes throws the message that this app isn't available out of my country. I have already downloaded it from this ressource shortly after the iOs launch.
You are right. We are checking why that. https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/uncategorized/how-to-create-exceptions-in-windows-vista-firewall/ Depending on which Windows you use, that menu may be placed somewhere else.
The menu is still in the same place as it was in Vista, even though novice computer users might not be able to find it as it's kind of hidden in Windows 10, especially in the latest insider preview.
I don't know why, but the moment I connect my phone (Oneplus One) the car immediately turns right and accelerates with no way to counteract.
I'm getting problems with windows firewall. I allowed the game to go through and even completely turned firewall off. The game still says that it is blocking it. Help??
https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/uncategorized/how-to-create-exceptions-in-windows-vista-firewall/ It works on win10 --- Post updated --- Handbrake?
Beamng isn't connecting to my devices. In beamng itself, on top of the qr code there is a message saying that the game is blocked by firewall even though I turned the firewall off. When I scan the qr code, beamng shows my device but the connection times out on the device itself (tried it on ipad mini 3 and galaxy s6). It might be a problem on my end, but I have experienced this problem even after restarts and switching wifi networks on both devices Cool feature though, keep up the good work devs!
Check that both devices are connected to the same network Make triple sure that nothing on your PC (firewall, antivirus and anything similar) is blocking the game from connecting to your other devices (If you are seeing that message, it's because something on your side is still blocking the game)
Hey Nadeox, Previously I reported a problem on this thread, where beamng drive and the devices do not connect. I waited a couple of days (and after my McAfee AV expired), with no improvement. Just to be clear, I have completely turned off microsoft firewall (which is the only one on my computer) and allowed background file writing on windows defender. I am at home, so all of my devices are on the same wifi network. What happens is that whenever I enable the "use device as controller" in the options menu, there is a notification telling me that firewall is blocking the game. When I scan the qr code on either my Galaxy S6 SM-G920F or my Ipad Air 2, beamng drive shows the device as a controller (in a band above the qr code, with a name like beamngremotedirect_[device name]). However, the app tells me that the connection timed out. Thanks
There can be other stuff that could be blocking the game. Windows firewall is usually the standard choice, but then it depends on what kind of antivirus you are using, and if it uses it's own fancy firewall system opposed/in addition to the Windows one. So quite kind of a variety of possibilities If the game's shows that message, it means that it's not able to communicate on the ports it usually uses for that stuff. The time-out is the proof of that pretty much. Why of that is not easy to find out, due the reason I wrote previously. I'm not entirely sure if this applies to devices on the same network, but it could also be an un-properly configured router (if the port the game is using is blocked for example, or somehow blocks devices from communicating to each other)
I have an iPad mini 2 and It works just fine...except for the fact that the gauges are all gray and don't work and there is a bit of lag you have to get used to. I have a high end Intel i7 processor so I don't think it's my computer...
I'm getting some kind of lua error in the app. I can't see the rpms or what speed, the information doesn't come through. I opened logs and constant error messages about a lua error. The phone stays connected for some time and randomly just disconnect.
