    Just drag the .zip file into the mods folder, don't unpack it. you can read a more detailed guide on how to install mods here.

    Hello all!

    Today I started some work to make a future update... First, a full textures, meshes and code overhaul of the map, to keep the same quality of latest map of Beam.
    In second time, add more stuff and point of interests to the map : - an observatory at the top of mountain
    - a little ski station, with cable car
    - some snow near the top of the mountain
    - more roads and pass
    - add rivers, streams and swamps..


    Today, groundcover textures improvement :

    You always have a way of making your maps look beautiful. You and @Ouerbacker always had a way of making such a beautiful scene. Sure you don't have much time, but an hour here, a half hour there, and eventually you'll get somewhere with it. I was never one for that 'lime green grass look' like East Coast (really, lime green, I've never seen lime green grass unless it was just starting to grow in early spring) - HOWEVER, you actually make it look GOOD. I had to re-color all my ground-cover stuff in Roane County a deeper green (actual GRASS colors! I tested with stuff from my yard, yup I walked out and ripped out a chunk and slapped it onto the desk, heh), so that it actually looked like grass in Tennessee. So yes, entirely, your work is beautiful, keep it up, even if it takes forever, it'll be worth it in the end (both to you, and everyone else).

    This map is a hoot, and trying to get through the entire thing without wrecking the car is a challenge. Always something a bit different around the corner. 100% on-target for a car accident simulator here.

    How upset would you be if I did some AI way-points for the original Canyon of Speed and fixed some of the texture-glitching on the decal roads, at some point this summer? A friend who does car accident compilations asked me about possibly doing that. That map is too good to go and be deprecated.

    You are right when you speak about lime green grass, it's volontary on my part because it's really an early spring map! And early spring is here actually where I live, I love this period. I live in similar mountains and I can see meadows at the doorstep of my home, it's a good example!
    Also I distort a little colors to satisfy the eye... And to break the uniformity of the meadow, I still have five different colors of the grass, not to mention flowers and other plants.

    You can work on Canyon of speed if you want! No problem, it's with pleasure..
