    Hello!
I'm planing to buy a "new" notebook. I found one that's in my price range and I wanted to ask if it is possible to run BeamNG on that thing without any big issues. My expectations as "playable": 30-40fps @ 1080p on low to mid settings.
    This would be the hardware:
Intel Core i5 4210H (dualcore with HT) @ 2.9GHz (turbo boost up to 3.5GHz)
    Nvidia GeForce GTX 950m w/ 2GB VRAM
    8GB DDR3 RAM

A fast answer would be very helpful as that notebook is for sale on ebay and by the looks, it won't be there for very long but I want to know this first before buying it.

Sounds promising. I just bought the notebook. Let's see how everything runs when it arrives. I'll report further details when I have it and got the time to test everything.

Got my notebook today. On the overall setting low it runs smooth with constant 50fps.

I have some fancy gimmick laptop that barely lives up to its promises. Idk the full specs but it's an HP Envy x360, touchscreen and all that. I think it has an i3.

There should be the problem. The cpu is not powerful enough and if I see that correctly, you only have Intel HD graphics. That's not enough for BeamNG.

Yeah but I'm okay with it because I get 31 frames at the lowest 16:9 resolution, so sometimes I switch over to that when I'm driving hard. My wheel and pedals should be coming in a few days, so I'm curious how my computer specs will affect the way that works.

it's not bad, does it's job perfectly. It's not designed for games in any way.
Might be able to run BeamNG on lowest settings collison on simple and windowed at around 800x600 with Ibishu Pigeon at around 30FPS
