Hopefully a simple question that I have been unable to find an answer for.

I use cockpit camera most of the time and also use the "look ahead" camera mod to move the camera angle with steering angle. Is there a way, to adjust how much the camera moves around in response to G-forces? For example, using a powerful car around a hard turn, the camera moves a lot to simulate forces but this is really annoying on bumpy terrain and also distracting when trying to be precise.

    Thanks!

Relative camera has zero response to G-forces, it's welded to the vehicle. By default it's positioned on the driver camera location.

I know that the Covet V6R4 has a lot more camera movement under G-forces, and I was wondering how to replicate it just now so I guess you would be able to do the inverse as well.

It probably involves adjusting the "BeamSpring" properties of the beams that suspend the "camera node" in the air.

That works! Never used relative camera before since it wasn't on the list as default. Can't use the "look ahead" mod with it right now but honestly won't miss it much now that the camera doesn't move around.

    Thank you!

Actually using that car is what made me start to wonder if there is a way to disable that movement. It's practically undrivable with that much camera movement, at least in my opinion.

It might be nice in a future update to be able to tweak the amount of camera movement, sort of like in Dirt Rally.

I guess you could set variable for beamspring or damp for those camera nodes and then have adjustment for camera movement in tuning page?

You're welcome :) Remember that you can easily use WASD and pgUp/Down to adjust the seat height and position.
