I'm in desperate need to get this model to have working textures. I have tried everything but I can get it to work. I know it really doesn't need to take long to do it. PLEASE if you know how to find the textures, do it for me. I will PayPal you 10$, seriously. You can download the file below and put it on a map and try it out. If you do it really fast ill give you 15$. Thanks for helping! :)

Save your money, this kind of thing takes 5 minutes to learn.

Here's screenshots so you know what to do:

    0. You first need to fix your .DDS files.

The game does not use any 'Gloss' map.
You need to import it into the 'ALPHA' channel of your 'Diffuse' texture:
Video - Click to Play - Direct Link

(In short, copy-paste into an 'ALPHA' channel in the diffuse texture)

Then you need to save everything in the proper format (DXT5 for textures, BC3 for normal maps - Name could vary according to what software you use, use Google in case)

    1. Place your files in the game's directory:

(The material editor works best there)

    2. Import model:

    3. Material editor:

    4. Choose 'diffuse' texture:

    5. Choose 'normal' and 'specular' textures. Also, adjust your 'Diffuse' color to be white, not grey (or your texture will appear darker):

    6. Save:

(The materials.cs file will be saved in your userfolder in Documents/BeamNG.Drive. That's like a mirror folder, so if your files were in the 'levels/smallgrid' folder, the .CS file will be in the 'Documents/BeamNG.Drive/levels/smallgrid' folder.

    NOTE
: If you want to use it on another level, you need to open the materials.cs file and adjust the paths manually:

Pro-Tip, but use with caution: In the path, you can also just leave the filename (as far the files are in the same folder of your .CS file. The game will find them, but it can give you trouble if you re-save the materials from the in-game editor.

    7. For working static reflections, you need to add a line into your materials.cs file:

(Restart game is required to see the change).

Attached is everything, but you may want to do it yourself following my indication if you want to actually learn how to do it yourself.

Thank you so much for the help, but I doesn't work anymore. I got some problems with the map but it's working again. After I got the map to work again, the textures on the flamethrower stopped working. It looks really shiny and the game just crashes when I try to open the material editor... :( help

If you have orange/black 'NO TEXTURE' stuff, the editor will crash. It's a bug.
'NO TEXTURE' happens when your texture paths are wrong (and the game cannot find the files)

Open the 'materials.cs' with a text-editor and see if the paths for the textures files are correct.
If you changed level, you may need to update your paths so that they point in the correct place.
