There will definitely be some sporty/race variants with a pretty significant amount of power (especially for a minivan), but I think a thousand horsepower is a little much. I'm aiming for around the mid-500-600 horsepower range for a V6 with a stage three turbo, which would be the most powerful engine option, but we'll see once I get to the engine stuff. (^^) --- Post updated --- Hmmm, which part looks small? It could be the weird perspective, so here's a Pessima for scale. (^‿^*)
Hmmm, It seems I forgot to edit the very edges of the roof when I edited it a while back. It should be very easy to fix. (⌒.⌒*)
Cargo Capacity 2902 L Curb Weight 1565 kg Fuel Tank Capacity 65 L Height 1642 mm Length 4755 mm Wheelbase 2830 mm Width 1792 mm 1996 Honda Odyssey
It’s ever-so-slightly longer than the Pessima, which I think is about right. The first gen Odyssey was 187.2″ long, and the Accord of the same generation was about 185.6“ long, so I think the Kashira is about the right length in comparison to the Pessima, but I can can change the length a bit if needed.
hey, this is looking good only thing I did not realy like was the high tailgate: https://www.beamng.com/attachments/screenshot_00265-png.375359/ I think it should be as low as the rear windows tbh. If you have any questions with the jbeam, feel free to drop me a pm
Thanks for pointing that out! Knowing me, I probably wouldn’t have noticed it by myself. I need to rework the tailgate quite a bit, as the upper half is still mostly just a modified Covet hatch, and I’ll definitely make the window heights on the hatch uniform with the rest of the car. I’m going to try to do most of the jbeam myself, if I can, but I’ll definitely PM you if I have any questions or need help. Thanks for offering! (*'▽'*)
It does seem a bit small compared to, say, my dad's 2010 Odyssey, but this is based on the 1st gen Odyssey, which was heavily based on the Accord. For the 2nd generation, it received a whole new platform because American buyers noted that it was a bit too small for their needs.
I've been slowly porting over smaller parts from the Pessima and modifying some of them to fit the Kashira. The suspension and engine are just about done, but the interior is going to need a lot of changes. Also, the van has a working column shifter now. ヾ(・ω・。)シ
Not really, sorry. Like many other minivans at the time, the Kashira was specifically designed for the American market, so a RHD varient was never produced. (._.*)
