sorry but the Hummer is dead and will stay dead. poor fuel economy and being way too big are the two reasons it died.
It's not really necessary for a new Hummer, it's still around America, and I'm sure that GM doesn't care about reviving the Hummer, and focus on the already-alive brands they own.
The H3 Hummer wasn't horrible, but I wouldn't consider the H2/H3 to be good. The military spec hummers are cheap as chips now, so I don't see a reason for any new Hummers
I personally would love to see the brand come back with something like the Hummer HX It was supposed to be smaller, lighter, and more economical (not really practical, but it was basically a toy) than all the Hummers before it, and was aimed basically at all the "Jeep Bros" as a cheaper, more capable, easily repairable alternative (supposedly). I would have loved to have one of these things, and so did a lot of people I knew... but it was too little to late, as just a few years later the brand was dead, and so was possibly their biggest shot at a resurgence... the Hummer HX.
Plus, what's the point? Sure, Saab is (likely) gonna come back, but reviving brands that went bankrupt and hurted the company? Plus, GM already has enough brands to handle, so why bother adding more?
That's what I was thinking. I'd actually be okay with the Aztek getting revived as long as they revised the design. Some cars can come back strong when a new generation is introduced, for example the Dodge Challenger. The second generation was a rebadged Mitsubishi Galant Lambda, it's not a bad car, but it's not what a Challenger is. However, the third generation Challenger nowadays is far more true to what the car stands for. There's mainly one reason why I'd want to see Pontiac get revived.
