second to last motor, 1.8L turbo (CA18det)

 

is there a possibility for some of this stuff to go to the 200BX? The nissan style engines would fit perfectly in it, as well as that LS3 style one. Overall, it's amazing so far, even though we don't have that LS style engine or RB and SR style engines in the sunburst yet.

 

Yeah mate at some point I will, just sorting these out to start with and fixing bugs then I'll attempt

New updates awaiting approval, i made sure to add the coupe

added a I6 2.6l motor (twin turbo, single turbo) (changes colour depending on roll cage colour) (RB26de..)


Added V8 6.0L motor (N/A , Twin Turbo) (LS3)


added oil cooler with new model (changes colour depending on rollcage colour)

Added 1.8L I4 Turbo motor (CA18det) (Colours change depending on rollcage colour)

added early wip drag front bumpers For sunburst
re added exhausts
Most motors have multiple forced induction setups

Added all motors to Coupe (200bx), still a few small clipping issues, one motor slightly clips the bonnet will be fixed in next update




fixed many bugs
fixed random fire for sunburst

exhaust particals dont come out in correct position

bucket Seat doesnt work in coupe

So, i'm having problems. In the sunburst, the racing driver seat by itself melts, when paired with the racing passenger seat both of them melt, when i have the racing driver seat and regular passenger seat it works. Also in the sunburst: the harness bar on the stunt roll cage likes to melt. 200BX: you already pointed out some of the stuff (racing seat etc.), but i'm having missing textures on every single engine with turbos, apart from the ETK 3.0l and 3.2l forged and the 6.0l V8.

actually nevermind. The texture problem was on my end. It was conflicting with D-Troxx's wheel pack, so i deactivated the wheel pack and cleared the cache. Textures work fine now.

 

Not sure if you know about this or not. It's on the stunt roll cage.

 

Alright so the roll cage and seat are melting due to a jbeam stuff up on my end, unfortunately I've flown out for work so I won't be able to fix for a few weeks, I was supposed to change the jbeam back to the old version for the roll cage,and the racing seat only seams to work at this point if you use a stock passangers seat, it is still early wip so tell me if you encounter any other glitches
if you want to fix the roll cage you can steal the beams and nodes section out of the Coupe jbeam for the roll cage and replace the nodes and beam For the same cage in the sunburst mod[/QUOTE]

 

Did you model all of these engines?

 

Most the engines are the original motors heavy modified (same block etc to save polys) with parts from a group of modders I'm part of for assetto corsa, I created a few of the turbos and rocker covers and some small parts plus the cages and oil cooler, the rest of the parts are from my Mates(supermodsrus)

 

the models is good, but the rocker covers arent perfect and theres a lot of clipping issue with the 200bxs radiator

 

Yeah I'm awear of the issues, the 200bx was added last Min because it was requested, I usually test them but I haven't had time due to flying out for work

Really nice addition, the 3.2 I6 is just superb! Small thing: the race seat weighs about 40kg more than the stock one :-/

 

I get no texture with the turbos on the 2.6L I6, i've cleared cache and tried without any mods other than this, and still no texture

 

Yeah, that's a known problem. Unfortunately he can't fix it, as he is away right now.

Yeah that's weird, made sure I used only in game existing textures to avoid that issue, I'm away atm for a few weeks
