Game is literally unplayable

so mi used to be able to run beamng at 60fps no hiccups or anything on low settings, recently my game has become unplayable due to random lag spikes. ill go from 60fps to 0, my first thought was to turn the game settings down, didn't help, so then i thought automatic mod downloading, still not working, i only have about 45 mods, please help.

 

Try to end all endable processes in the background (Not the windows processes) with Task Manager.
It should help with FPS.
If this doesn't work, it could potentially be PC throttling if you own a laptop.
If these don't work, try clearing your game cache.

 

I've had this to. My ingame repository kept trying to download mods I had subscriptions to over and over until I eventually unsubscribed, so check your in game mod manager

 

I doubt it from backround processes becasue up until the latest update my game was fine. im on a desktop, and caceh did not help\

I seem to have the same issue, not fps wise but the games ui is lagging hardcore. In game I will get around 80fps but the speedometer will lag along with the main menu tap in game. Clearing the cache didn't help. I think its the repository but I have yet to taken any action as its too slow to do anything.
