Update Speculation thread

Yeah!

 

I dont think well see italy in the next update more like next year as the two big maps would be to close together i think well see a suprise car next and the bluebuck probably only when gabster gets back until then well only see new cars wich havent been anounced yet maybe even the wendover or something before that. Also we could well see a new car soon as development usually takes 3-4 months

 

I think the next major update (not 0.11.4) we will see performance increase for West Coast USA, a lot more new vehicle configs and new scenarios.

It's time for indicator sound to finally come to BeamNG

 

Just looking at the hatch.dae, and there’s just one overfender on the front left wing.
Maybe the Covet’s getting a more complete body kit?

What if the update is ready, but they are holding it back until Christmas, it would make a ton of sense. I can assure you though, we are probably not getting a car. We are probably getting a ton of bug fixes, and possibly Italy. It really just depends on what the developers have ready. We just have to wait.

 

You guys should really get italy out of your mind for quite a while itll take at least another year also because if we have 2 big maps so shortly together wouldnt really be that good as you dont know wich one youll play first also my guess for the next update is the beginnig of february or end of january

 

Why are we talking about an update already? Its barely been three weeks since a major update. I suppose a small Christmas update is possible, but the official mod probably took the place of anything we would've got.

 

Fixing WCA performance and bug fixes, I'd assume. WHat I want for Christmas is the performance stat and thumbnail generator to work again, though.

 

I just hope I can play BeamNG again in time to get the Christmas achievement...

 

When did the thumbnail generator break?

Also, I do not see an update getting released for christmas. There simply isn't enough time to make a fully fleshed out one in a month.

 

The thumbnail generator takes all images in the same size, when they're supposed to be different.
Unless that's a feature, but I've always done it 900px and 500px.

 

I wish they could add a proper race mode (pick car, pick track, pick opponents, etc)

 

Time trial does that just without any opponents.

 

maybe we will have a hotfix update in christmas with new little things, like object, configuration, sound change....

 

can somebody catch me up on what's going on? Have not visited this thread in 2 weeks..

 

Just people guessing/saying they want random things based on the fact that some believe another hot fix is needed.
