Nah I’m just going camping for a bit then I’m heading back to my house in WCA. Anyone have a good camping spot that they know of?

I got the Banger Barstow to the dirt track today. It rips, especially for how underpowered it is!

Welp, it's ceased. The only thing that makes this situation slightly better is that I have a nice 423 motor that will bolt up to this tranny. It will have power at least.

-The Next Day-
I got the 6 cylinder out and there's no bad damage to the outside of the block or oil pan... that's a good sign. I'm still gonna put the big block in it though.

 

I race trucks, own a lot of cars, and have 1,000,000$. Also am canadian. I also wreck alot

 

Raced that Sunburst for pinks. He took off at launch AWD and all, I spun tires and went through 1st and 2nd gained control banged it into 3rd and overtook him. I'm gonna sell the car and use the cash. More pics on then car selling thread.

I found a good camping site, but it’s on the other side of Beam Mountains. Looks like this trip is going to take longer than a few days....the good thing about being your own boss though is that you can give yourself extra days off

Finally got the 423 in the Barstow but now I have a big, meaningless gaping hole in the hood. I have a solution though! I bought an old OEM Shaker Scoop for it at a swap meet. It will look cool and keep dirt off of the engine, but it will probably suck a ton of dirt down the carburetor...

Got the Barstow repainted, which do you guys like the old White or the new Red

 

I like the red with the chrome bumpers. It gives it a classic "from the factory" kind of look.
