Title says it all. Can’t find a good pc under on or under the budget. Can anyone send eBay pictures/ links of good used gaming computers, or just help in general?
A few things. If you currently have a desktop, what model/ company is it? Also are you comfortable with building your own computer? $350 will not get you any great prebuilts, but with used part hunting, you could build a really decent PC.
I'm trying to build a budget PC as well, I bought a cheap Zoostorm desktop form Ebay for $75. The specs were, CPU: Intel i3-3240 ( Dual Core - 3.40ghz ) RAM: 8GB Hard Drive: 1TB. I then did research on Graphics Cards. I bought the GTX1050 ( 2GB ) as it was cheap and good value. This is also very useful as It works with most computers, as long as it physically fits into your Tower. I'd recommend watching this video for GPU installation: Most computers come with a decent amount of RAM, 8GB is a good amount for a budget build. ( I'm not sure about CPU's and haven't bought one yet )
Especially if you go with older, used parts. Probably an example in a higher price range, but just for example, the 900 series of Nvidia GPU's are still very capable of playing recent games, even at the higher graphics settings. Everyone's trying to go for 4k and all that nowadays, which means you can get the stuff that was considered high end in the 1080p days much cheaper. And 1080p is honestly more than enough quality for games really

tbh at that price range you're better off looking at prebuilts, maybe try and talk down the price of a display model at best buy or something
I don't know anything about Bestbuy, what sort of display model's do they have there? Normally when I think of normal shops I think of very overpriced laptops... It might be better to look at 'used' prebuilts. As in, see if you can get a decent complete computer for cheap
they just have generic stuff, normally. frys/microcenter, if you're blessed to have one near you, might more often carry "gamer" computers. used desktops are a good route too.
If you want a gaming computer go to a Ma-and-Pa computer store with a tech-savvy friend of yours. If you want to run Beamng.drive DO NOT BUY YOUR PC FROM BEST BUY, WALMART, ETC. You want: An Intel i5/i7 (unlocked i3 8350k would do too), *OR* a more affordable AMD Ryzen which is plenty to do 60fps+ A decent video card. Integrated GFX will struggle to run 720p on most systems unless you have fairly fast RAM in the PC that is over spec, not likely to find that. So look for a decent Nvidia GTX 1050 4gb or 1060 6gb (not the 3gb!). An RX 480/580 or 470/570 is a pretty decent video card too, made by AMD instead of Nvidia. Vega is even BETTER but is VERY pricey. System memory, 8 is abysmal-bare-minimum for gaming. GET 16GB - the more the merrier! Try to get an 256gb (or larger) SSD with the computer so it doesn't feel as slow as your old computer, otherwise, it will More CPU = more cars in play at the same time! More memory = larger maps and more cars + AI driving them, More graphics power = better image quality and immersion factor AND smoother game-play! 1080p is fine for what it's worth, you needn't go higher, I use it here and must say, it's budget-friendly and offers plenty of immersion for this game. 4k resolution is rather hard to run at the moment without dropping an extra grand or more on the computer, and still not quite ready for mainstream experience yet. --Cheers! Also: Pre-built major-brand machines will often not have any room for upgrades beyond an SSD or possibly a sound card being added. give these a pass, and go for something gaming-related from a local PC shop. They might not have one readily built, but you might also find a newly-used model or used model in good repair with a warranty by the shop owner. Newegg and Amazon have plenty - and I mean PLENTY - of choices for gaming machines. READ THE REVIEWS! I have 22+ years of hardware experience here with computers, since the pre-pentium days. You can find a very reasonably priced AMD Ryzen machine with 16gb of RAM and a decent video card for a good deal these days! Ryzen won't 'overclock' as high as the intel, but if you want the game to run, a Ryzen will do just about as well as the Intel will. Don't buy anything with FX-SERIES or APU series CPU's in it though. If it says AMD *AND* it says RYZEN it's OKAY otherwise skip it! AMD FX = RUBBISH AMD APU = DOOR-STOP (RUBBISH!) Intel Pentium = so-so, you can afford better Intel i3 = getting better Intel i5/i7 = hey this is pretty good - K-series models clock higher and offer more FPS AMD Ryzen = 80~90% of the intel i5/i7 for HALF the price - pretty good on a budget! AMD Ryzen APU = powerful enough CPU may not do well with video on medium or high detail, hard to find/limited availability and only in cheap laptops right now. Make sure it's a Ryzen APU and not the older ones from before quarter-4 2017. If this is confusing, skip APU's altogether. An APU is a CPU that has integrated graphics in it. If you don't see RADEON or NVIDIA somewhere in the PC's description, you need to SKIP that computer as it doesn't have a dedicated graphics card. If on an absolute, bottom-dollar budget, find a Ryzen 1200/1300X or i3 8350k powered-PC and grab an RX 470 or 570 or Nvidia 1050 GTX 4gb video card for it. Make sure it has AT LEAST 8gb of RAM. If you still cannot afford a machine based on these specs, I encourage you to look for used machines at ma&pa PC shops (independent shops). You will not buy anything but out-dated tech that won't run this game well if it's below the prices of the above-quoted machine, so either save up more or buy USED. If you still can't afford that, then you shouldn't worry about buying a PC right now (no offense), consider updating your existing machine if that's all you've got. It's always cheaper to build it yourself, too. Or just keep saving. Resist temptation. Prices might be higher than expected as it's CHRIS'S MESS right now.
