New map frame rate lock

when i load the new map it runs fine at about 40fps but when i change vrhicle to anything it locks to 9fps any ideas how to fix

Does it happen only on the new map?

Do this:

Go to options > user-interface > enable 'Advanced Mode'
In the sidemenu there should be a new button named 'PERFORMANCE'
Press it. Then click the 'Hide UI for 10 seconds' button on the top-right corner.
Wait until the UI returns back, then press ALT+O and paste the link for the image here.

Repeat the above when the issue describe above happens.

the issue has seemed to resolve itself as it isnt doing it today, no idea what it could of been

I have the same problem (when I load the map I get ~30 fps but then it locks down to 14). This only happens on the new map although my performance has dropped on other maps aswell. Here's the screenshot: http://media-cdn.beamng.com/jeFQdn37PZImB3T6/screenshot_00001.jpg
