Released American 80's Fullsize Series 2.1

I never knew there was a mod for sirens? I've checked just incase I've forgotten about it, but it doesn't seem to be there. I'll try disabling all my other mods now.

I do think having the 88 coupe will be neato, but being more of a fan of the upper line of GM coupes through the 80's (never liked the bubble looking rear glass on the lower models) I'd still like to know if there's any plans to make a landau delete on the 98. Could you perhaps make the outer texture for the vinyl transparent and map a colorable metallic texture to the inside bottom that touches the roofline to make it just look like a plain roof?

Also, wheel pack is definitely one to cross off my wish list. Gonna be cool to have some bigger wire spoked hubcaps for the Grand Marshall.

 

Does anyone know where the file for the video that plays on the limo tv? I was going to try and stick a movie there

I'm affraid not. The horns and sirens command are the same as for official cars, and use sounds that are in common. So it just works here and for anyone. I have no idea why it doesn't for you.
If it could help you feeling better, the tailgate and all the special keys of the oldsfullsize mod (delta88/customcruiser) don't work and i have no clue why.


EDIT: i've deleted all the settings folder in my documents/beamNG.drive and the tailgate is back. They are files that are saved by vehicles in it and was causing a mess in the bindings of the cars.
So maybe this is your issue as well for horns.

 

Hi there! First of all - great work on this mod! I've thoroughly enjoyed it and appreciate you keeping it up-to-date!

That being said, since your most recent update, I've noticed that it causes the attached "headless dummy" issue when I try to use the Ragdoll Crash Test Dummy mod on it's own (https://www.beamng.com/resources/crash-test-dummy.906/). I initially reported the issue in that mod's discussion but was able to narrow it down to this mod being the root of the issue (disabling this mod + add-on pack resolves). Hoping this is something that you're able to look into

Im having troubles with this addon pack.... its most likely me being dumb but the only things that pop up are the police cars and when I try to spawn one it doesn't spawn. The original car works so I have no idea what I did wrong.

 

Ah okay, well I'll have a look around using some of what you have said, and I'll fiddle around for a little bit of time to see if I can get it to work again.

Dude, I love the custom sounds for the Caprice Drag Station Wagon, and how the body realisticly twists when you punch it. This is truly one of the best I've seen.

 

this happened to me when i un-installed the original old_american_sedan mod. Once i re-installed that, the problem went away.

How do install the addon now? Since i pressed the "subscribe" button, it didnt work, then i downloaded it and put it in the beamng folder and still not working.

 

When you subscribe you only get the basic repository part of the mod. To install the addon you'll have to download the zip file at the bottom of the first post and then put that in documents/beamng.drive/mods

 

I cant find it.
