Just noticed that after the 0.11 update the three drag edtions (moonhawk, barstow, burnside) almost traction roll when floored from a dead stop. Anyone else experincing this?

Only at the drag strip of WCUSA, everywhere else it's normal. I'm assuming they meant it that way.

Torque Reaction is much stronger now.
You need to not too full pedal when launching one of those cars.

The drag tires just don't seem to "hook up" like they used to prior to this update...even with a more gentle start, they still let loose once full throttle is applied. I even tried prewarming the tires to see if that helped but no luck. I feel like they may have gone too far with traction reduction with the implementation of torque reaction.

Totally unrelated, the nitrous system is a blast :)

Prewarming the tires doesn't do anything as of yet because they don't have thermals yet. That said, the drag cars don't do wheelies anymore because of lack of grip making their wheeliebars into just fancy ballasts to put more weight over the rear wheels

You'll have to use the prepped drag strip surface to get wheelies and stuff :)
The tires and drag strip are now at realistic levels of grip.

Jesus, people, do you really expect cars to pop wheelies un dusty, unprepped streets? That's what the strip is for!

So that’s why the West Coast drag strip has that awesome wet texture to it

I mean to be fair they USED to, and I've always kinda assumed that gridmap pure was meant to be ideal circumstances for slick tires and it never occurred to me that there would be official content with more grip for drag tires than that unless they did a major drag racing update(this kinda was one but the new map kinda hogged the spotlight) and I didn't notice anything in the patch notes about it, I just assumed the torque was twisting the car causing one tire to have poor surface contact.

The prepped surface has more grip for ALL tires. I was* able to grip roll a sunburst on racing slicks doing a U turn at the strip.
