@MasterFluffy I noticed a bit of a code fail moment you had the engine running on Gasoline, not Diesel in the game files, please make sure all references to "Gasoline" are swapped to "Diesel" please

 

It bothers me too every time I look at my code and see that . Reason why I never changed it to diesel is because then i'd have to switch to a diesel fuel tank and any time I wanted to switch back to a gasoline engine... I'd have to switch back to gasoline fuel tank... I found this to be a pain.

The actually physics of using gasoline version diesel in the engine is the same in beamng. No power change, no efficiency change.

Maybe the devs will change that one day.

 

Yeah I know, I made the switch myself and it works just fine, I tweaked the fuel tank to make it about 40Gal(US) so no harm done there, besides it runs nice pulls a heavy old load so thats good

 

I thought about making a 40 gallon tank, My dad's suburban had one that size.

 

Well few lines of code and Google converter later and 151.5 Liters = 40 US Gal tank, I found under the extreme weight through the back end it breaks, can you probably fit a gooseneck onto it or what ever it is so it can pull the large trailers that are for the trucks

Just installed this mod and it works great except for no engine audio. Any ideas on how to resolve this? Im running 0.10.0.1

 

Have you tried disabling other mods? Likely a related d-series mod causing the conflict.

 

Thanks for the suggestion! I keep my mods pretty clean and organized so it was easy to enable/disable and see what fixed it. Disabling either snakeridge_trail or lizardback_trail resolved the issue. I was able to enable them both again and the engine sound remained working. Not quite sure why it fixed it but thought I'd share my results.

Thats weird. You click on the orange button at top right that says "Download Now" ?

I'm having an issue with the engine audio as well. I disabled all other mods, and it's still occurring. Happens with both diesel engines. I can hear basically nothing, except for a bit of noise at the highest RPM's if i have my volume all the way up (very high).

EDIT: Never mind, I figured it out. If you have your game audio lower than a certain threshold, the sound doesn't play at all.

 

Since the latest update, I've found the rear 2.75 diffs have been broken, my 4X4 is now FWD only, if I disconnect the transfer case I go nowhere. has anyone else had this issue?

 

Yeah I found the issue with the rear diff and leaking exhaust, since the new update, I'll have a new version with the fix out in a day or two
