nice but it wouldve fit the etk 800 instead and it its sounds more like ken blocks ford fiesta than a focus ST
my sounds can go to any car. I Will describe in detail therefore you can get the result you want. extract the rar to your vehicles folder - Example C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\content\vehicles now that you have extracted the sunburst folder which contains the sounds and sound mapping file (sunburst_sounds) I want you to create a new folder called etk800 take the sounds folder from the sunburst folder and transfer it into etk800 folder you just created. Go into the sounds folder that you have just placed into the etk800 folder. you will see the sunburst_sounds file and the audio files. change the name of the file (sunburst_sounds) to (etk800_sounds) then open etk800_sounds with notepad (PREFERABLY NOTEPAD++) You will see two lines that look like this ["default", "vehicles/sunburst/sounds/tractor_idle2.ogg", ["default", "vehicles/sunburst/sounds/tractor_high2.ogg", change sunburst to etk800 it should now look like this: ["default", "vehicles/etk800/sounds/tractor_idle2.ogg", ["default", "vehicles/etk800/sounds/tractor_high2.ogg", TADAH!!!! You now have the KEN BLOCK SOUNDS YOU WANT ON THE CAR YOU DESIRE! This same rule applies for any of my sounds! you can even make two or three etc... cars have the same sound with this method! if you would prefer this new sound to go back into the mods folder. Zip the folder etk800 (Winrar, 7Zip) and put it into the mods folder. You can then delete the etk800 folder that is in the content folder. PS. If you use Winrar make sure you select ZIP NOT RAR
Hey man, just a heads up: This should go in the Mods and Skins forum, not in Land. Mods and Skins is a forum dedicated to modifications of preexisting official or non-official content. the Land section is dedicated to new vehicles. Good job on the sound mods by the way!
Love this mod But i dont get it to work for some reason I put the file in mods or should i put it in a different place?
The author is no longer on the forums, but this mod should still work. The file should go in the mods folder. Are you leaving it zipped? The more complicated instructions above are for making the sound work with other cars.
