Just wait until A group is made for just this. Actually that isn't a bad idea, maybe do some time races and see who can get the best time around a certain track then go ahead and see who would be leading and all that stuff. I am kinda just fantasizing about racing against some AI even though they suck, but it is better then being alone.
Here is another livery concept. Its WTF-420. Its a parody of WD-40, you can find a can if it in the garage if you look closely. Its more if a 90's look than the tasti cola livery. Its has a layer of ruber, dirt, and grundge to make it look more used. Not sure yet if i will include weathered versions of the liveries for the actual mod. If i do i will probs make one covered in mud aswell, if i decide to make a dirt track variant that is.
Just curious, where can I find the template to paint this? I've looked all around this thread for it and I can't find it anywhere.
cant wait till this up coming year for this mod every update post makes me more excided for this mod keep up the good work
Theres no rush this mod is exciding every one just like the late modle mod did before its was released but that mod died off cuz of the lack of updates and other thing i think well the mod was not updated in a long time but just like i sead theres no rush take your time do it right then do it fast and have to restart all over. with all the comments on this mods thread theres alot of people waiting for it im not trying to rush you and i believe other people are not trying to rush you too when they ask when the mod will be out cuz if that one dude sead that this mod can be mod of the year then it can. just take your time and do it right where all here supporting you on this mod.
cheers man --- Post updated --- not so much a template as a blank white paint job. for anyone interested in making some livery designs the program i used was GIMP what i did was first select all the parts that will be painted and the duplicate them into a new layer. then make the base pattern for the livery on that second layer. then add logos as new layers and set them to multiply. for each logo right click on the layer it is in and click alpha to selection. then click on the second layer and erase the selected area, this will correct the colours on the logo whilst keeping the reflections. if you want to try and make the grunge and dirt effects make a new layer and then add them over the top using a softer brush.
paint.net is also free. Also, didn't someone say that they had a folder of all the company logos in Beam.NG? That would really come in handy right about now.
I already sent it to @matty1080 so he can relase it with the UVs but I'm not at home rn, maybe he can send it to you
