Awesome, take all the time you need. Trying to stick to a monthly update schedule here. It's sad 'how little' there is to the updates in terms of how long it takes to drive through it all, but bringing a completed scene from an empty grass lot isn't as easy as it seems at first thought. Anything you can offer is more than awesome, I can use anything, even a boring brick box with 4 walls and a roof :)
"Beggars can't be choosers" comes to mind, in reference to me, not you, when this comes up.

Nothing 'lol' about that at all, actually, it's pretty respectable of you. Maybe save your money and try to buy desktop parts or pick up a used laptop from a pawn-shop. A year back there was a nice Toshiba i7 2xxx series with 8gb RAM, with an nvidia card in it and an SSD for <300$ USD and it worked (they did offer a gauruntee that was functional when sold). I bought my retired mother a working core2 laptop computer with 3gb of ram and a 250gb HDD for 50 bucks this past spring for email purposes. Just have to get Win10 for it.
So sometimes just broadening your spectrum of where you're looking, helps a bunch - don't get ripped off though, know your prices!

OK well so I got all the curbing done in Kingston that needed done by the apartment complex, and did all the parking lot entrances nice so they didn't flatten tires, did all the signs for the airport so you could find it.
About 2+ hours of work. Then the editor crashed because this stupid crap decided to group-select instead of moving something.
So I am *NOT* doing that again...period.
I AM DONE WITH THIS EDITOR FOR THIS WEEK, THIS CRASH-HAPPY MESS HAS WORN OUT IT'S WELCOME. What's done is DONE, that's what makes it into the update. I will pick it back up when I don't feel like deleting this program anymore and never touching it again. I've really had it with the multi-selector from click-dragging (when you go to move something) coming up and select the ENTIRE TOWN and locking the PC, instead of MOVING what you're clicking on. This happens A LOT, generally it's only 5 mins until I save, but it takes 80~90 seconds to save, so it's less often. They need to address this, SOON.
What's here is here for you to enjoy, I am just done working with the bugs and the usability problems, it's too common it locks itself up, time after time, and I have to spend an average 10% of my day working double doing stuff over and over again.

I will be uploading my update tonight and it can go on the servers AS-IS, there's no bugs I can find. It's almost as done as I'd like. I might stick a few bushes in between now and upload time, but I've had my fill of bugs and it's eating my sanity.

So don't hate me if I take some time off, I will likely pick things back up after the update. It just is too easy to multi-select with click drag EVEN WHEN YOU CLICK on the object origin (the center, where you move it), and you're one damn pixel off.

Multi-select is NEVER ABLE TO BE USED, it doesn't even work right, PLEASE GET RID OF THIS 'FEATURE'. It selects the whole entire 3400 object roster (lock!) or 5 things, or whatever it feels it should even if it's across the map 12 miles+ away.
It's not the developer's fault, it's probably one of the guys from MiT who coded it who had too much booze the night before.

--Steamed but the update is almost done. Hope you can find the airport by yourself (sorry, not being rude, but really, there's signs for AIRPORT ROAD and it only goes one way, and it crashed due to poor coding after placing other signs for it). I have all the time in the world to put effort into this but I WILL NOT DO DOUBLE WORK.
I WILL NEED TESTERS TO SEE IF THE SPAWNS WORK.
    --- Post updated ---
Did what needed to be done, this will be the preview pic for the new version's resource page.

There's plenty of signs and you'll find your way about if you drive around long enough.
Will likely place the signs for Harriman city limits (this is done on the four main routes in and out) and then upload it later before I turn in for shut-eye.
Noted that ENABLED : 1 is not on some of the spawn points. These were the spawn points that weren't working, likely why. This is corrected at a text-editing level, so it should be working now at all points.
    Again, I will need testers.

I don't mean to be a total whiner today but my body hurts, it does NOT want to be upright, not even in this chair, I hurt to no end especially when it's cloudy and LOW PRESSURE areas are nearby or a state away (and the whole day before it comes, too, 2 days for a hurricane, I can feel one of those 2 states away).
Low pressure = more space for swelling in my joints, and my joints are worse than many 80 year old men.
Then I get these editor errors. I would surely hope they fix that. That group-select has NEVER been useful and it never will be in it's current state and only suffices to leave the editor buried in processes for hours.
What's done is done and that's the majority of Kingston. There's also more signs all over. Object weight total is 3372 items of 4000 total (last 96 reserved for player, player vehicles, current mission checkpoints etc).
This map had about 200 less objects when I posted the 0.9 compatible update that had a large part of Harriman done in April. So there's no issue getting the map done with what's available.
--That is all, look for something before the weekend (hopefully, provided I didn't rubbish anything).

I just love to check this thread once in a while to see what you are doing :)
I think the fov of the preview image could be a tad lower tbh but it's a nice view and gives a good impression of the map.
About the pool, please make the water level higher/sides lower. I work(ed) at a company that makes pool covers so I would love to see a cover or the roll on the side of the pool.
Anyway, keep up the good work ;)

It uses the global water level, otherwise it would have been 8" to 1' higher. We had a pool for darn near 20 years at the house I used to live in as a kid. I will try to lower the area when I get time, maybe when they fix the global click-drag selection to work right.
I don't have an object to use for a pool cover right now, maybe in the future someone will make one one day. I will make future ones better, but in 2~3 days you will be able to crash into it yourselves.
Normally there's a 4 foot high fence around pools, but what fun is that in a car-crash sim if you can't crash into the pool.
Though a deformable above-ground pool would be totally awesome, though there's no water-modeling for realistic water dispersion here yet just 'static animated water' and 'static animated streams' and usual waterfalls.

EDIT: Tried to add in the yield signs. No matter how many times I tell it where it is, it still can't find the model. Not dealing with this broken editor any more today, I'll worry about it when it WORKS.
Most of the other things I want to say couldn't be printed on the nastiest, disgusting, most awful forum that exists, right now.

Thank you for all of the hard work you have put in!

Sorry to hear about your frustrations as well. I do not do well myself when software isn't working as I want it to, and I have only admiration for the patience that you have put into each of your projects. I have to not use some software when my nephews are in the house because work-destroying bugs have a reflex-like link to bursts of profuse cursing.

Looking forwards to shooting some video and tearing up some asphalt!

Take a breather if you need it. You have definitely earned it with all the amazing work you have done, in some of the most ambitious projects to hit the BeamNG mod scene to date.

We (and your projects) will be here when you return.

(quote portion I put in red and bolded)
DING-DING-DING YOU JUST WON THE INTERNET!

Thanks. Got a good kick out of it. I figured it was enough when I slapped the 85lbs computer tower, don't even think it moved (sad).
I need a week or such of time off from this. I've literally done nothing but map, and the occasional 30 minute break of piano crushing at the end of the day (besides reading news while I eat or something).
I will be messaging the mods to update the resource today.

It may take some time to fully authenticate before us regular users can access it.

I know I will be shooting video today, as soon as I can download it.

Yeah there's only one issue and that's some of the spawn points don't work still - I tried to fix them - they refuse to be fixed and I have absolutely positively no clue why!
But do check for a random white car falling to the middle of the earth when you load the level - hopefully it's gone!!!
I have no CLUE why o WHY there's a second car but I've exterminated it many times and it always comes back.
The editor was driving me bonkers and needed some time away from it before I kill it / the computer it's running on / etc.
So this will be the last update for a good month. Will have the recent submissions in next month or such whenever the 0.11 update rolls in towards the end of November (will likely take a compatibility patch for several maps). Will not be doing any updates until then.

Thanks to @synsol and @meywue the new version is up and works, too. Do have fun guys! I need some time off of the editor for a while to do something else before the 'hamster in the wheel' hits 'plaid' (speed) and just randomly combusts & explodes blowing hammy kibbles everywhere. Bob has had enough bugs for a week, and even got a tooth infection, and had to raid the medicine cabinet for hoarded anti-biotic pills (save them, idiots). As such it's completely gone in one evening.

Hey, do you have permission from the guy who created Garfield Heights to use his bleachers for the football field?
I saw it by the school from original Burger World.

You should look in the credits for the map before you ask questions like this one.
I have permission FROM ALL AUTHORS for use of assets. Do you really think I would use something without asking when people worked so hard to make it, just as I've put somewhere over-and-above 2500 hours in this map alone? Not being rude, but, yes, he knows fully well and I've asked him twice now, both times he's responded, hangon, let me get it...
dated july 2016. I keep this on file in-case the 'internet vigilante police type' come knocking.
I've asked him since then again, when he made some new models, that, after giving his map well over a month (or 2) exclusivity time, I asked again if I can use some (but not all, obviously) of his models, to which he has no issue with and basically said 'feel free'.

So, NO, Tennessee Roane County (or ANY of my maps for that matter) make NO use of any unauthorized, commercial, or other unwanted use of models, without permission. If I need something I ask. Period.

Keep in mind of the terms of service a modder agrees to when they upload/contribute files to this forum. It stipulates that not only can Beamng company use assets (graphics, models, sound etc) from you map as they see fit, but other users may make use of them also. I can 100% assure that I know what it's like to put a lot of hard work into a map, but I can also tell you that even with thousands of hours, this map has barely half the homes placed and set up that it shall have when it's done. I can't model to save my hide, so my solution (besides only being only one person!) was to ask other users about things. I only ask them if I can make good use of it, though. I don't go and raid the servers daily for whoever's models I can snag and stick them all in my map just because the TOS says I can, that isn't very respectable in my opinion. On-top-of-that to speak, Occam was also kind enough to make the 3d driveway models that I use, ALL OVER the map, that are scripted into the forest brush for 'unlimited' use.
However, on the flip side, anything that this map brings to the table that is new to the community, is generally something I made, such as road-textures or ECA model re-skins, etc, and those I don't mind AND actually encourage folks to use, for the better of the community.

It's like an artist, with a bigger canvas, and many more colors available and even a full assortment of brushes. You can surely paint a better picture with more, right, or at-least a more CROWDED one.

While I appreciate you trying to stick up for folks that do hard work and don't want people free-loading, worry not, I ask & await responses before models are ever added into my map's resource folders. I entirely do know where you're coming from, but unless it's a huuuuuge map you're looking for or an off-the-books PC stress test for your computer, you won't find anything nefarious here, too old for that stuff.

So, go enjoy the game/simulation and worry not about the assets, they're all properly accounted for with full knowledge of authors, and there's even at-least TWO signs on the freeway (US 40), with people's names on it that have their assets used.

If there's any discrepancies, feel free to let me know (if I've missed someone on the credits, I've double checked though), and if anyone who donated 'signs' in the form of graphics for business names this past week isn't on there, rest assured it will be when your asset is used (as I have to make some more 'pages' of signs for the next revision).

Again, no rudeness intended, however, I am very blunt and to-the-point / upfront by nature. Comes with age, I suppose.

    --Keep on keeping on!

You'll be just fine. Don't use reflections in this map or it's going to drop below 30fps in spots.
Experiment with medium or high detail, it's up to you. Close web browser out before running (and any other memory-hogging apps, but leave your virus scanner on as always, it is safe to do so).

No it's quite alright, you're excused on that; so do not worry about it. I don't mind folks sticking up for authors of maps.

    In other news:
On that note again I will mention, my resources here (not other author's assets such as Occam's houses/bleachers that are clearly from his map, or signs from @RedRoosterFarm), are for free use by other authors. They may not be used for other games besides Beamng, though.
If you use my assets, give credit, it's a non-issue you don't really have to ask (especially the ones that are just re-skinned ECA models), I don't mind. I share my stuff with the community, but when you need more than just one or two just ask.
Other author's assets you should run it by them (especially to see if they've improved their models by that time), to let them know/ask/etc so they can have the pleasure of cruising through a map they helped make better, in the very least.
Much of my assets were created for the betterment of the community as a whole, to make future maps better by giving people more variety to work with.

So enjoy the map folks - but don't forget that 8gb or more of RAM needed!

Thank you for featuring me on the main page!

More videos inbound as I drive around ^_^ Performance is MUCH better with the grass shadows disabled and 2D imposter boundary tightened.

    Great work!

What's the size of the map itself? Is it 8192x8192?
