My John Deere gt235. Its only 2 years younger then me and just last year was the first year that it started to have age problems. No rust problems, 1 part replaced (battery), original tires, and only standard maintenance. My family has had this since 1999 and have used it as a lawn mower, plow and a small plant waste transport and for me when I was younger a joy ride vehicle off road. I don't know how many hours my lawn mower has but I would reasonably guess 2000+ hours. But sadly its reaching the end of its life. I would guess half of the original horsepower and torque is gone, it needs to be driven around for 2mins before you can start the blades for the lawn mower attachment, the front bumper fell off and is missing, the hood-bonnet is damaged after years of service and the plow attachment finally broke after 17 years (found a replacement). The above photo is not mine but looks just like it. Notice the front bumper is missing just like mine.
The closest thing to a vehicle I've ever owned is a Good sized 4-wheeler i don't know brand, owned it and sold it YEARS ago
My Green Machine.....sadly it broke. So many hours of hugging the Apex and spinning out when I went too sharp........ probably why it broke....
