Engine Blowups.

    Wouldn't it be cool if you could accually blow up your engine by over revving it or being at a high rpm for too long? I think that would be awesome!

    Perhaps they mean the engine actually EXPLODES, like flies apart and rips the hood off or something.

    Okay... right now, Engines lock up from revving too high... they don't explode. I'd love to see them just pop and the hood flies like 30 feet into the air with a nice puff of smoke :3

    Although
    that would only happen in very certain situations... other times it would just poof and smpke pours out of the engine bay...

    That's what you see in drag racing, right? that's not due to overrevving. That's what happens when the bolts cannot keep up with the constant psi of the engine.

    Well, you could also do a too big shot of nitrous on a stock engine, so...

    What about the realistic poff of the engine when too much nitrous is shot or too much pressure. That way everyone is happy. :)

    Still what i said applies. Its more about the bolts failure.
