Pontiac didn't fail because of a single model. Pontiac failed because it was mismanaged by that joke of an automotive group that is GM.
But that still was a shitty car and I said "one of the reasons Pontiac failed." that means there are more Because 88 Horses is super fast. A fucking Iron Duke make more than that!
And still I think the LeMans wasn't that bad. Certainly not worse than... all the rest GM was building at the time.
I really don't like the front... especially with the headlights, being like a flashlight through a air vent.
And I think it's worse than anything GM made during the 80's because It didn't sell and it rust fast than it's top speed.
Well if sales are now criteria to judge a car, that model alone racked up more sales - worldwide - than Pontiac could do in its entire lifespan.
Because GM have a Monopoly on cars no shit there are going to make the cheapest car for poor Country.
Yes. But the LeMans was designed by Opel in Germany (absolutely not a "poor country") and was a best seller for years. It might have flopped in the US, it was certainly a mistake to brand it as a Pontiac over there, but it was no way a "shit" car. No more than the rest of the local GM production of the time.
Blame GM, not the car. The original car was quite good. Then those penny-pinchers at GM did the only thing they know: bastardized their brands and squeezed the most out of a single design. But that's exactly what they still do today. Except they are running out of brands to waste and they also sold their most important engineering department last year...
Agreed, along with their bombs that killed out Pontiac and Hummer. Chevrolet is really testing what sticks on the wall that probably aren't even decent, which was also GM's fault.
