Should the "empty" grille be replaced with the one from the Hopper on all hoods?

Tiny progress update. The 2 screenshots contain the list of parts that are already done (at this moment atleast), yet there are still more to go. The main problems will be the suspension details (A-arms & that stuff) & the civilian interior :p

dude really good on the model and whats the progress on the offroading ? also how tough are you planing to make the frame and body like tough enough to take on a t-series or tough enough to take on a h-series cus IRL the HMVE is pretty tough like it can take impacts pretty well

While still missing a ton of parts, the JBeam is coming along quite nicely. Off road wise it is an extremely capable being able to tackle the largest obstacles with ease. The only things holding it back capability wise are the weird temporary steering (as I said before, I will add the normal system once the mesh's get created), the fact that it is using the least powerful version of the engine that it ever came with to move it around (it doesn't feel to bad now as it is missing well over half of its parts), and the biggest drawback is that I don't have a low range gearbox incorporated yet. I have to learn how the new powertrain code works first before I take that step.

Almost all of the Hummers capability came from the sheer amount of torque it could create at its wheels. That's why not having the low range gearbox is such a hindrance right now.

That being said, however, right now it is an extremely capable machine. All of my testing I did with it so far has been on gridmap, but to give you an idea, those rock crawling areas to the left of where you spawn in? It will walk through them no problem. That little area to the right that is like climbing stairs through a little maze? Walks through it like it's just a bunch of little hills. Mud? It is literally almost unstoppable. It's an extremely capable machine.

Right now its tough... a little to tough to be exact... I have to do some more tuning, right now the T series probably wouldn't stand a chance against this thing (but I can't test that as I haven't added collision triangles yet)

To my knowledge it isn't on hold at all... not sure why he would have (or whomever did) switched the thread to say it's on hold... heck this past week we have had some of our best progress.

Who was? I am the one making the JBeam right now and I haven't encountered any problems as of yet?
