Well, that would be city milage, on the highway averaging about 55 to 60mph they get about 14 to 16mpg if you keep your foot out of it. Of course different years, body styles, engines, transmissions, and tires will make this very, but that's about standard for a 2000 Wagon on stock 37's. Edit: To compare that to a more standard vehicle, my 94 F150 with a 300-6 and a 5 speed on a drive of 500 miles averaged 14.2mpg while drafting a semi the entire way (I had very little money to make the trip at the time so every cent counted) so for a box on wheels that weighs practically twice as much and has 2 more cylinders, that's not too shabby.

Looks good! If I were doing the transfer case I would take a look or even use the Hopper's Inline Transmission.
