Like in My Summer Car the windshield when damage will pop out I think it's a cool idea.

I don't think the windshield popping out when you crash is realistic. Have you ever seen a cars windshield pop out when it crashes?

Theoretically if the adhesives used to secure and seal the windshield in the car were somehow extremely weak, sure a windshield could possibly pop out of place. However you'd probably know this ahead of time, and would want to try and solve the problem before your expensive windshield could do that. However I do not think that these end up becoming nearly weak enough to pop out like you're suggesting. Your windshield is more than likely going to break before it catapults as a whole out of your car. Period.

Actually it would be worthwhile implementing, the devs need to focus on game mechanics other than cars, and maps in my opinion.

Not when it would take several hours to make a decent jbeam for it. You'd need at least 4 or more like 6-8 nodes for the windshield to pop out, as it would need its own structure. Then you'd have to connect it to the actual body with beams, test it, correct values, make sure it was realistic, prevent stretching/spiking, and then set up breakgroups, and deformgroups so that the windshield would break properly when forces are applied to the correct amount. I could make one in an hour or so with one of the existing vehicles, but getting it up to par and realistic would take far too long to be worthwhile for something that realistically doesn't even happen very often in real life. I can jbeam around a windshield the way it is done now in 20 minutes or less and set up deformgroups and whatnot so that it works fine, or I can spend several hours on one windshield, time that would be better used somewhere else.

It isn't too uncommon in older cars until around 1985 and European economy cars until 1995 to have a windshield fly off of the car during a severe accident. The Pidgeon should definitely have this feature because its windows are plastic and are held in place by rubber weather stripping.

So maybe detachable windshields could be done for vehicles with the highest likelihood of them popping out?

I've pulled enough windshields out of 70s Chrysler's to know that they don't just fall out even over 40 years ago. Just saying.

I'm sayinf that whatever Mopar used to glue that shit in there isn't gonna let lose. There would be a big hole in the windshield before it ever woild fall out.

What about in Japanese cars from the 70's.
