My submission for round 3 Untuned BRC4 covet with Xbox one controller Time of 2:26.588. Could have easily done atleast 2 seconds quicker (did a 2.25.032 as shown in best times) but lack of time management did not allow me the chance.
Liked the stage, but the LeGran really is a boat in the tighter corner. Very stable through the fast part though. Bruckell LeGran BRC4 w/ABS, 2:28.400 on a keyboard.
I worked at this course for about an hour and only shaved off a second from my first completion... The run got a little stupid at the end so I probably could've taken off five or more seconds if I was just more careful. (video is still uploading at time of post)
Wasn't enough for P1 this time, but as always: nice stage Did a 2:23.382 min on a wheel with a Sunburst. --- Post updated --- You stated the wrong time, did you? ;-) Beam.NG says 2:21.926 min in your video.
Thank you for mentioning that, not sure how I had that entered differently than my video description. I've also managed to upload or export video files incorrectly at least twice this week, so apparently I'm a bit on the fritz as of late.
This is the end of the third event. View the standings on Google Sheets. This brings us to the fourth and final stage, which I know CreasingCurve is quite fond of. It is quite fun, be sure to give it a try.
Spent a little bit of time on this course to get what I believe is a moderately polished time (didn't exactly nail the hairpin). It is indeed quite a fun one, hopefully I can combine these roads with other roads in Utah to create more fun courses. There are a couple checkpoints that need adjusting so you can't miss them, something to remember if we ever revisit this one. (video is uploading at time of post)
Despite my immense love and respect for this course i had an extremely busy week, filled with homework, school and some actual real life racing. Sadly i didn't get to spend much time learning the curves but achieved a decent time of a 2.56.488 using the BRC4 Covet (untuned) with an xbox one controller. This has been a great championship, good luck to those who still need to set a time for the final round. I should be able to help out setting up the next championship so there isn't as much downtime, as year 12 is finally coming to an end and assignments are thinning out (finally).
My best attempt at the last stage. It was really hard to get the initial straight down, (It's really scary going down that without braking at all) but after that the last few bends were the real difficulty. The fall away left turn caught me out so many times, and then into that tight chicane. Tough! Definitely a fun one. I am pretty proud of my time, but I could have done a bit better if I was able to string together all of my best attacks on each corner. BRC Spec Rally Sunburst (Manual w/ XBox One Controller) 02:48:648
Phew, what a fast stage along some scary cliffs and edges! Got together a 2:43.437 min with a slightly tuned (just gear ratios) Sunburst. As always, I used my wheel.
This is the end of the fourth championship, here's the final standings. Thank you to everyone who participated, and congrats to Spec Racer Z, -randy-, and ClassyClassic for top 3! As always, here's the feedback and planning thread, be sure to give your opinions and help decide on factors for the next event.
