barely can run 2 cars

hello,
if i play beamng i only can run 2 vehicles but with insane lagg but my laptop specs are not bad my settings are low so idk what to do

They are not as good, and are generally 2-4 times more expensive than a normal computer of the same specs.

 

actualy that has nothing to do with it anymore. as you can see here the i7 he has is 4-6% slower in single core preformance then my i7 4790 desktop cpu

It will be the 1050 I have a 6700HQ and a 1060 6GB in my work laptop and i can run 4-5 cars

 

I use a 1050 Ti in my computer and it works fine for the game. It's likely all the parts in the laptop is either thermal throttling or underclocked.

 

My 4 year old not high spec laptop will run 3 cars on a normal map without any problems.

I am not good with computers so I don't actually have anything helpful to say, just wanted to hop onto the "stop giving laptops an unnecessarily bad name" train.

 

Please run HWInfo and run the game for around 10-15 mins. Report back with max and average temps for the cpu and gpu. Assuming those are good, check your power adapter. An unplugged laptop will perform poorly. You can also check your power plan. If your laptop if overheating, try repasting and undervolting.

 

since you are using a laptop make sure that beamng is using the correct graphics card!
the issue might be caused by the game using you cpu's integrated graphics instead of the 1050.

It's not the GPU that's limiting the number of cars, the GPU does not handle physics.
What are your temperatures? It could be thermal throttling. Are you talking menu lag it game lag?

I have the same CPU, although I run it at 3.8 Ghz. Anyway, it should be plenty for two vehicles, generally 4-7 should be fairly easy to achieve.

Definetly check your temps, since when this CPU gets too hot, it can run as low as 0.9 Ghz.

Should be fine for a couple cars. Any more and it might struggle.

 

update now my laptop runs first 60 fps and it goes down per 2 seconds with like 8-10 fps

it ends with 15 fps. any solutions now???

 

thats possible but like any ways to better cool it down
