Yea, but those are only for the performance engines, you can't get those for the basic engines right now.

 

here is a peculiar issue. I downloaded the new Olds Fullsize and the add-on, updated both and i'm only getting the delta 88 and the wagon version of it. only the B-body frame shows up with a body. there is also a few issues with the Tailgate being called Tailgate hydros, only one exhaust on the motor showing, and the mirror being able to be moved when rock crawling, back glass seems pretty darn weak, and when i go off a jump, the rear end drops first, thought it may be the tuning in the configs. beater config spawns under the map when you reload it.



EDIT: found the Caprice and Regency. are they supposed to be seperate vehicles?

 

This mod is absolotely awesome! I really appreciate the work you guys hate put into this masterpiece!
I made this just for fun in paint Got the inspiration from Volvo 245 Transfer and a extended Volvo 760 wagon (more or less a limo with a wagon rear)

Could you please read the first post of the topic with description ?
The first thing you'll see is the selector screenshot with several mods outlined in red.

Of course it's intended, with so much presets it would be a pain to search one special car. Also the reason of having them separated is logical, frame and drivetrain are now in common, so the purpose is to make different mods relying on a common platform. Like the Roamer and the D15.
Back in the '80s, people bought Caprice because they were Caprice, they didn't care about the B-body stuff, so make them different mods allow players prefering Chevies to just drive and test Chevies.

No the hotfix is for the black Codename only, which was lacking some materials.cs lines gone in the common branch. The hotfix is pointless to download if you have already the addon pack, because then the Codename will find the materials.cs lines in the common folder located in the addon.

The mod seems to be very fun and well done, but I have only one concern. There are no manual gearboxes. Apart from one 5 speed on 2 engines, 500 and 800 horsepower. I just wanted to hoon an old rusty car but I can't drive with automatic transmission ;_; (By now I have muscle memory to change gears, and even if I succeed to force myself not to, I get annoyed by the decisions it makes). Will we ever see a manual for all engines or that's not what you planned for this addon? (BTW, if there is an addon to this addon with manual transmissions could someone tell me where it is for download? I just got to know this mod, don't judge)

 

Well it definitely should be a addon, I do think, that the engines they used in Olds were pretty much the same as in some Chevys and therefore, the possibility to have manual gearboxes is there. Serge should look up the information about the Olds engines, that which cars they have been used as well and are those engines based on older engines, that would share the same gearbox connecting placements and had manual boxes in the past. That would server as a realistic link and open the possibility for those.

We'll speak about it with Ar162B, these are his parts, i've only textured them. We plan on releasing a wheel pack for all cars so this will have to be fixed.

 

The TV in the Limo is great fun to play around with!

 

Well you know, i'm not planning a lot of things really. It starts from enthousiasm about a new project or idea, that's it.
So today, seen with a cold brain, i'd say that doing every body B or C body variant is not a challenge that interests me that much, it's more a lot of work. Platform is the same, but all is different, interiors, panels, so huge work in 3D and 2D. About the Caprice, i didn't made the models, but it was worthy because of the iconic side of those cars. Every body knows the Caprice. Electra don't have the same appeal. But the Cadillac Sedan De ville as C-body, would be very nice to see in game at some point.
