Game crashes when changing more than one setting

hey guys, i found my game crashing when i change more then one texture setting then applying it, if i go from the lowest settings to the highest ( testing which runs best ) then apply the game will crash :/ its annoying how i have to change settings one by one, just wanted to report this! to make the game a bit more stable! Great game btw

I'm pretty sure that there was a dev blog a while back that said that they had fixed some crash to desktop bugs and the fixes would be released in the next update.

 

Can't mirror the bug on this side :s works fine changing the settings

 

what setting are you trying to change? for a few people, changing one of the settings (i forget which) to lowest, will crash the game (although, as i said, for a FEW, people, it works fine for me)

 

Got the problem when i change the shadder on my side but i but i find it pretty minor scince the game is still playable

 

I think I used to have a problem changing one of the settings, but now it works fine for me..

 

This happens for me when I change from lowest>high (for screenshot purposes) OR when I disable PostFX.

 

That is EXACTLY what happens to me! annoying isn't it?

I can not recreate this. Could you all update your video drivers then test it again. It would also be nice if you posted your hardware specs.

 

Personally, I think of it as an "overload" of changes. I know that if shaders is put to lowest when the lighting is not, it crashes.
